IIM Mumbai cutoff 2023 for MBA is based on CAT 2023 exam. IIM Mumbai will be releasing two types of CAT cutoffs, namely the Qualifying CAT cutoff and the Final CAT cutoff. For IIM Mumbai admissions 2024, the Qualifying IIM cutoff is set at more than or equal to 80 Percentile, while the sectional cutoffs are established between 75 and 80 Percentile for the General category candidates. IIM Mumbai offers various courses, namely Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE), Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (PGDSM), Post-Graduate Program for Executives for Visionary Leadership for Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLFM) and Fellow programme. Apart from this, the institute also offers certificate and global certificate programmes to its students.
IIM Mumbai admission to MBA programme is done basis CAT scores. CAT 2025 exam was conducted on November 30. As per IIM MBA's official website, interested and eligible candidates should apply for 2025-27 admissions.
The application fee for PGDISEM programme offered at IIM Mumbai is INR 1,000 (INR 500 in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries. For international applicants, the application fee is 50 USD 50 along with the bank charges (as applicable).

Yes, CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three shifts. The exam was earlier conducted in 2 shifts, but since 2020, the CAT is conducted in three shifts - morning, afternoon and evening. In CAT 2025 too, there will be three slots which will be allotted to applicants in no particular order.
CAT exam slot timings will be -
- First shift: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM,
- Second shift: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and
- Third shift: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
For PGDIM course admission, candidates must have satisfy the eligibility criteria and appear for the CAT entrance exam. Indian candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) process based on their valid CAT scores subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. On the other hand, international candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview process based on GMAT scores, IELTS/ TOEFL (applicable for foreign candidates) and 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

GATE-qualified candidates are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present INR 12,400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules. Stay in hostels is not mandatory in IIM Mumbai. It's depends on you if you don't want to take hostel, then you can live outside but I think in IIM Mumbai, for some courses like PGDIE, PGDIM hostels are compulsory.
