A good college with okay campus but good opportunities.
Placements: Only 0.2% of people get accepted into government medical college for MBBS. After undergrad, one has to do post-graduation and residency, and then they can practice medicine. They can earn about 9.6 -12 LPA. There are many branches in this course to choose from.
Infrastructure: There is a different building for each department. For example, there is an Anatomy building which has the dissection hall, demo rooms, and a museum for Anatomy and Embryology, and there is a lab for Histology. The labs are well-maintained. The hostel is okay, but the food is not so good. The canteen is nice; it has a little variety of food.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and help the students when needed. They guide them well. Semester exams and practicals are moderately difficult; if you put in a little effort in studying, you'll do well. 98% of students pass the year generally. Yes, it makes the students ready for the medical industry.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it teaches the best in medicine around the world. By doing this course, one can learn all the medical subjects and choose which subject to pursue in postgrad. Things to better my course would be better equipment in practical labs and better projectors and computers. There are many cultural events in the college like Sankalp, Shivjayanti, and the Ganesh festival. There are clubs like the Rotaract Club and the Writing Club. There are student bodies like IMA MSN and MSNCOM.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and they will improve so as good for college.
Placements: 200 students are allotted in one batch. No package is offered in my course. No companies are recruiting for the MBBS course. Internships are compulsory for every student and are not required by any company. They are available within the college. Every college provides opportunities for students to improve their skills.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available, such as hostels, classrooms, labs, and the library, but not Wi-Fi. The infrastructure is good, and the college has special infrastructure for every department with good management. The quality improves every year, as the college focuses on good health, good teaching, and good management.
Faculty: All teachers are very good in being helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best and very helpful for understanding. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to the degree and useful in one's life journey and job. The faculty is ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult as required for student growth. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: The medical field is one of the best fields for social work, helping all generations. This is a good profession as it teaches all the necessary aspects of life for good behavior and a strong personality. Some sports events are required for good health and self-improvement. Every year, some events are organized by students, college staff, and teachers under Dean's supervision.

    Good college at this time.
Placements: This is a medical college. You find companies here. But yes, you can get employed directly after your MBBS in your college itself and get a hefty salary of Rs 75,000, working as a casualty medical officer. Other options include working as a house officer in the department of your choice with a reduced salary of Rs 45,000.
Infrastructure: I have opted for hostel rooms. The good infrastructure is good, and there is no disturbance in studies on a sharing basis in 1 room. Maximum 4 students are able to accommodate facilities. There are three hosts for boys at the UG lavatory.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and supportive; they do not disappoint when we ask them to help. Teaching as well as non-teaching staff are so cooperative; all the teachers are very experienced and concentrate on their work. Courses of MBBS and curriculum are based on semester-wise, like in one year there are two semesters, and after that you are promoted to two years, like this over-course curriculum.
Other: Rotaract Club is the major club that conducts different types of events and provides students with leadership opportunities.

It is good in terms of academics, but the infrastructure needs to improve.
Placements: There are no such things as placements in medical colleges. After 4 years, we have to do a compulsory 1-year internship in our hospital. Our hospital gets a very high patient inflow, which is very good for interns. We get Rs. 11,000 per month as per MUHS rule.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. The main building is a bit old. We will be getting a new building that is equipped with all the facilities. The building is almost 90% complete. The labs are well maintained. Hostels are also decent and new. Boys have to live in the old hostel for their first year and are then shifted to the new hostel for their second year. The old hostel is not in good condition. Mess is also good and provides good food. We don't have good sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They clear up your doubts and also help with research-related work if you do any such work. The course and exams are decided by MUHS Nashik. Exams are difficult, and anything above 75% is considered good in finals.
Other: You will enjoy MBBS here if you really like this profession and are ready to deal with many patients. There are a few small events.

Good college in teaching, campus facility is not that great, facility and infrastructure is decent.
Placements: There is nothing like placement in medical college. You can practice in your clinic as per your wish and you will earn decent earning not too high nor too less For government jobs, you need to apply on their vacancies, for that you need to be updated. College posts their vacancies on their site or you can get it in newspaper. Internship is hectic but it is helpful for becoming a good doctor. Stipend offered is around 11k per month.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in my college is decent. Some instruments are old but are usable. It's all about using it effectively for understanding concepts. We have well-equipped lab which has decent facilities. There is library with Wi-Fi available with ample amount of books. Hostel facility is good compare to other GMC. First year hostel, is Jawahar hostel which is old but with decent facility. Hostels from second year are very good (New boys hostel). There is 24*7 electricity and water facility. Mess facility is also good, quality offered is above average but even then you will miss homemade food. Sports facilities are not too good, we have volleyball court and basketball court. Moreover, we play cricket in our hostel campus. Canteen facility is there. We get most of edibles there .
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They offer good quality teaching and also solve student's doubts. My personal favourite is physiology faculty. Curriculum is a bit tedious. You need to study hard. MBBS is not a course, it is a dream. Motivation to serve people make you work hard. Pass percentage is good. Semester exams are not that hard, if you study important topics, you will pass .
Other: Government offers scholarship to OBC students. Whose income is less than 8 Lacs, get freeship. Those income is less than 1.5 Lacs, get scholarship by government. After freeship, fees comes out to be 15 k per year In scholarship, we get maintenance allowance.

Review of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur.
Placements: After graduation, students can directly get a job as a medical officer, popularly known as MO in this college itself or their home district. Many of them though do not go for MOship directly and rather prepare for PG entrance. The starting salary for a government MOship ranges from Rs 70,000 to 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: Although most of the buildings in this college are new, the hospital is an old standard, and some of the wards are in very break-down condition. The campus area is also not very large and does not boast of any sports or co-curricular activities. Hostels are well built and maintained well.
Faculty: Teachers do not take much interest in making the students understand the concepts. Students are expected to focus on self-study and be self-dependent. Most of the students have bought some online study resources or have alternatively joined DAMS. Semester exams are mostly easy, and the pass percentage is usually above 80%.
Other: MBBS is a very prestigious course, and any Indian student would die to get into this, because of the job security and other benefits. Fests and events are not much of a thing here in IGGMC. There is a Rotaract club of IGGMC though that is everywhere, and responsible for all the events in this college.
