NEET 2026 Chapter Wise Weightage
The NEET exam has three sections- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Though it is important to cover the entire NEET syllabus 2026, knowing the chapter-wise weightage is also necessary. We have prepared the section-wise weightage of chapters below based on last 5 years NEET question papers. Have a look at some high-weightage chapters of the NEET exam below-
- Current Electricity, Ray Optics & Optical Instruments and Electrostatic Potential & Capacitance are some Physics high weightage chapters for NEET.
- Aldehydes, Ketones & Carboxylic Acids, Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding of Irorganic Chemistry and Chemical Kinetics of Physical Chemistry are some NEET Chemistry chapters with high weightage.
- Molecular Basis of Inheritance and Cell Cycle & Cell Division of Botany and Biotechnology and Animal Kingdom of Zoology are high value chapters of NEET Biology.
Students must note that the weightages given here act as a reference for NEET 2026 preparation and should not be considered absolute. It is advisable that students should cover all the topics of the NEET syllabus 2026 as there is no assurance that NTA will follow the same NEET chapter wise weightage in 2026.
