IIST MTech is a two-year course offered in a full-time mode. The postgraduate-level course is available in Machine Design, Digital Communication, and Computer Science & Engineering.
IIST MTech admission procedure includes the admission process of the Directorate of Technical Education of the Govt of Madhya Pradesh. Also, the admission to the management seats is based online admission process of the Directorate of Technical Education of Govt of Madhya Pradesh. Admission to the MTech programme is conducted as per the admission process of the Directorate of Technical Education of Govt of Madhya Pradesh. Before applying have a basic knowledge of the MTech programme. The step-wise details around the complete admission process for Indore Institute of Science and Technology admission 2025 for MTech are mentioned below:
Step 1: IIST Indore MTech Application Process 2025
Step 1.1: Candidates seeking admission should register through the online admission portal available at the IIST website.
Step 1.2: Upon successful submission of all the relevant details, applicants must download and take the printout of the generated “Bank Challan” for remitting the required application fee.
Step 1.3: Applicants should submit the fee to the bank with the help of “Challan” and obtain the transaction details.
Step 1.4: Enter the bank transaction details using the applicant’s login and upload the receipt of the bank challan to complete the registration process.
Step 1.5: Candidates who are willing to appear in GATE 2019, need to pay the application fees of INR 1500 for General/ OBC Male students and INR 750 for the rest to complete their application.
Step 2: Selection Process
IIST Indore MTech selection procedure includes counselling process. Candidates must have a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE to apply for centralised counselling conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh. During the counselling, the candidate needs to lock the choice of course and college in preferential order. DTE MP will allocate the colleges and courses according to students’ choices.
Step 3: Merit Lists
Once the counselling rounds are over, IIST Indore will release the final merit lists, candidates have to visit the institute admission office in person for document verification. After the commencement of the counselling process, the final list of the selected candidates is released on the official website of the Indore Institute of Science and Technology. The list is prepared after assessing candidates' performance and records.
Step 4: Final Admission
At last, the selected candidates need to submit their original documents for verification. Further, they must also pay a certain amount of course fees and complete other admission formalities to confirm their seats.
