First year of B.Tech is same for all branches at AKTU. Syllabus of first year is designed to introduce students with basics of all engineering branches. If the student's basics is clear  and has good academic report and knowledge of class 11th and 12th along with teacher's guidance and notes maintained of all subjects with continuous revision students can easily clear 1st year of B tech at AKTU without any back . Note- Back means if you got less then 30% marks in any subject in university exam then you need to appear in same exam again.As of the rest of the degree with proper guidance and continuous revision along with good practical sessions in the labs and project work students can easily pursue B tech at AKTU.
