No, B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is not offered at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET), Pune.According to available course information, DYPIET mainly offers traditional engineering branches like Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, and related fields. There is no dedicated Biomedical Engineering program at this institute. Still this is where many students get confused. The D.Y. Patil group has multiple institutes, and some of them do offer bio-related programs. For example, Dr. D.Y. Patil International University (DYPIU) offers a B.Tech in Bioengineering, where you can later choose Biomedical Engineering as a specialisation track. But this is a different university, not DYPIET.Now comparing with Lovely Professional University, LPU clearly offers biomedical engineering as a structured programme with good lab facilities, industry exposure, and placement support. It is more straightforward if your goal is specifically biomedical engineering. So overall, DYPIET is good for core engineering branches, but if you are specifically looking for biomedical engineering, you should consider LPU or DYPIU instead, because DYPIET does not provide that course.
