The total cost of B.Tech and MBA courses is between INR 1. 38 Lacs to INR1. 44 Lacs p. a being cheaper as opposed to other private engineering colleges. However, accommodation charges, extra fees such as hostel fees for (?60000 – ?80000 per annum), travel expenses and other eventualities are incurred. There are scholarships ad financial assistance for deserving and needy students as well. All in all, although IET AKTU is not very costly, personal financial situations should be taken into consideration and possibility to get a grant must be investigated.

{Source: MCA students & alumni}Here's a summary of the key points:Teaching Staff* Teachers are not at the best level, but some are good at doubt clearance and assignment giving.* Mostly, teachers have doctoral degrees and are kind and caring towards students' education.Infrastructure and Facilities* Infrastructure of the college is good, with labs having Wi-Fi connections and being spacious.* Hostel rooms can be larger, and there is a dispensary nearby.* Food is good, with four meals a day, and a canteen is available.* Sports facilities are limited, but a new sports court is under construction.Placement Record* 30% of MCA students get placed on campus, while all others get placed through off-campus placements.* The lowest package offered is INR3.5 LPA, and the highest is INR7 LPA.* Top recruiters include TCS, Vector, Scalar, Condensation, and Inventics.Course Content and Curriculum* Course is relevant and makes students industry-ready.* Faculty members are cooperative and help students develop overall.Student Life* Students have sufficient time for self-development.* College life is satisfactory, but hostel life is not up to expectations.Scholarship Opportunities* The college provides scholarships, and faculty members work hard to offer them to students.Overall, while there may be some room for improvement, IET Lucknow seems to offer a good MCA programme with decent placements, infrastructure, and faculty support. However, it's essential to weigh these factors against personal preferences and priorities when deciding whether to pursue the course.

{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of what they had to say:Positive Aspects:* Helpful Faculty: Many reviewers praised the faculty members for being helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable.* Good Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, hostels, and canteen, was appreciated by several students.* Placement Opportunities: While placements may vary, around 50-80% of students reported receiving offers from various companies, with salary packages ranging from 3.5 LPA to 12.5 LPA.* Industry Exposure: Some students mentioned attending industry visits and events organized by the college, which helped them gain practical knowledge.Negative Aspects:* Limited Placements for MBA Students: Unfortunately, most reviewers agreed that MBA students did not receive adequate placement opportunities, with few companies visiting the campus.* Outdated Curriculum: Some students felt that the course curriculum was outdated and not aligned with industry requirements.* Poor Support for MBA Students: Many reviewers expressed frustration with the lack of support from faculty members and the college administration for MBA students.* Limited Industry Exposure: Despite organizing occasional industry visits, some students felt that the college could do more to provide hands-on experience and industry exposure.Overall Verdict:While IET Lucknow has some positive aspects, such as helpful faculty and decent infrastructure, the limitations in placement opportunities and outdated curriculum might make it challenging for MBA students to justify the investment. However, individual experiences may vary, and potential students should weigh these factors carefully before making a decision.

IET Lucknow is one of the leading engineering colleges in Lucknow and year after year the cut off for CSE continues to be high. Gauging the data of the past years, one would require being in the top few thousand rank to get through IET Lucknow seat in CSE. But there is not a clear line where it ends each year depending on the number of candidates, their results, and the number of available seats.
