Student must have completed one year intership by the time of admission.Student have to give NEET PG exam which is generally conducted in June. After the declaration of result counselling session is conduced by the Medical Counseling Committee. For the general category, the closing rank for MD Psychiatry is somewhere around 4000.

Usually, mess facilities in institutions vary greatly with regard to hygiene, food quality, and service. Undercooked food, improper licensing, or poor sanitation have been reported in some other institutions, such as AIIMS and University of Hyderabad hostels. It would be recommended to inquire from present students or recent visits for true information on the quality of food at this particular institution.
