MBA in Human Resource - Batch of 2021
4.2
It was above my expectations.
Placements: In our branch, 60-65% of students get placements every year. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranged between 6 to 9 LPA. Multiple companies visit the college for placements. The top recruiting companies were EY, Eicher, Byjus, etc. The top roles offered were in human resources, executive positions, marketing leadership, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was average, not very good. The college provided facilities such as Wi-Fi, a canteen, labs, and a library to the students. The quality of food in the canteen was good considering the price. The college had a wide campus but no hostel facility.
Faculty: During my batch, there were all the best teachers in the college. The teachers were qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields of study. Regular industry visits were conducted by the college. Various workshops were conducted by faculty for the students. Exams at the college could be easily passed.

An excellent college, but the campus placements need improvement.
Placements: Placements were good for marketing students, but not for the students of human resource course. There were plenty of opportunities to get placed. I was placed in Spectrum Consultants, Bangalore. Companies like Deloitte, Byju's, HDFC Bank, etc., frequently visit our campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The building was like a typical government college building. The infrastructure of the college was okay. Drinking water and Wi-Fi facilities were provided. The computer labs were of very poor quality. Efforts were being made for the improvement of the building.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good and have in-depth knowledge about the subject. They used to provide proper study materials. Case studies were given importance during the course. They also conducted good class activities along with presentations.
Other: The campus crowd was okay.

Satisfactory placements and facilities provided. Students are given exposure to show their talents.
Placements: Placements in the college are quite good as it is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh after IIM. It is a government institution, so the return on investment is best. Salary packages provided by the companies during placements are also satisfactory. Various companies like Deloitte, HDFC, TCS, and Eicher, etc., visited our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. All types of indoor and outdoor sports are available for students in the campus. Books related to syllabus are also available in the college library and central library. Medical facilities are free for students. There is a scope of improvement in teaching methods, teaching quality, and seating arrangements. There is also a Wi-Fi facility provided on campus. CCTV cameras are placed in classrooms and parking area.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Traditional teaching methods are used to teach which is a flaw in the curriculum. The course syllabus and curriculum designed are helpful because it also provides a practical overview and scenario of the concept. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60, which is quite good and manageable.
Other: There are many clubs which provides students with a platform to show their talents.

Well known college in Indore, provides better placement than other college of but needs improvement.
Placements: Placements of senior batch was good enough as they were only 60 students in a batch. We had 120 students in our batch out of which even 50% were only placed that too maximum were into sales profile and not into hr even after studying MBA HR. The highest package offered for hr profile was 10 lacs by BYJU's.
Infrastructure: Need to work alot on infrastructure as its a semi government institution. Less Fees but less facilities too. Good in programs functions and games. Canteem was very bad and unhygienic. Labs and classrooms rooms too need to improve alot. I faced a lot of infrastructure related issues in 2 years.
Faculty: Few faculty members are good but others are very bad not at all cooperative and supportive. Work just like its some government office and provide no proper information. I faced alot of issue just because 1 paper of mine was missing and I requested to get photocopy of the same from college.

Love the college. Excellent faculty members and opportunities.
Placements: We have ample amount of placement opportunities for marketing and finance stream. Whereas for HR there are few good companies come for the campus drives and offer a decent package. If you have good communication skills and sound personality, then the college will get you placed definitely. The college has MOU with the companies like Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good as it is a government college established in the year 1969, but it is okay. The college has all the basic amenities. We have a separate library and auditorium. Moreover, it is on the university campus, so you have access to other university facilities also.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are good. Especially the senior faculty members. The college stood apart in the faculty it has. Academics are taken seriously in the college, and all the classes are conducted regularly. The attendance matters to sit in the internal and external examination.
Other: The college is located in the main city on a university campus. A lot of events are organised timely.

A best institute. Value for money in central India. Best for the marketing and finance.
Placements: The placement was average. HR is the profile where the opportunities are very few as compared to marketing and finance. Approximately, 20% to 25% of the students are placed in MNCs (Deloitte, Aditya Birla group subsidiary companies, Yesh Technologies, etc.). The placements of my seniors were a little better than us. It was approximately 30% to 35% along with these firms. They got the job opportunities from a few more firms like Shakti Pumps, Brain Masters, etc. There was no ground support for the internships from the institute. It is mandatory, and you need to find it yourself. None of us got the internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The campus has full Wi-Fi facility, with one computer lab, a library facility with good enough quality of the books. It is a UTD college, so there is a common ground for all UTD departments. The hostel facility is also available but is not mandatory for everyone. The hostels are good. The classrooms do not have that much class and aren't technologically updated. They are antiquated, but their teaching methods are contemporary.
Faculty: The faculty are very much qualified and knowledgeable. All the faculty members are PhD holders. Their teaching methods and approaches are nice. You will have a contemporary management view and the scenario of the industries. The course curriculum is useful and helped us in the interviews and to work in the industries.

This is one of the best government B-schools around.
Placements: Institute of Management Studies aka IMS-DAVV is known for its placements. It has a very dedicated placement cell which calls various companies for the placements of all the branches. Almost 80% of the students got placed in the college's campus placements. The highest salary offered is Rs. 9 LPA to Rs. 10 LPA and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 4 LPA. Many companies like Deloitte, Bajaj, Prism, Reliance Jio, etc., have visited the campus.
Infrastructure: This college is one of the oldest B-schools in India. It was established in 1969, so the infrastructure is old fashion. This is the government college. This college offers all the necessary facilities like the Wi-Fi facility, the labs, the library, the games etc., to their students.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are the gems of some treasure. All of them have the expertise in different fields. All of them are PhD holders and very intellectual personalities. I feel honoured that I got such faculty members as my mentors. They are very helpful.

I am dissatisfied with the director as they only focus on the studies part.
Placements: The placements for human resource is less in our college as compared to marketing and finance branches. Overall, our placement cell is working hard on it. The placements for our senior batch were too less, but we are happy that we are getting more than that. The lowest salary package in our college is 2.4 LPA, and the highest package is 9.0 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Though it is a government organisation, they have maintained it in a good manner. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, library, medical facilities are at its best. The classrooms are in good condition and are enough for the students to study.
Faculty: The facilities are highly educated, and they keep on changing the course curriculum according to the needs of the college, students, and the subject. The environment they provide is very good. The course curriculum is designed by the professionals of that particular subject.
