IITM began its operations in 2008 as an educational institution after receiving affiliation from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak while maintaining approval status from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IITM provides undergraduate and postgraduate education through its engineering department and computer applications section and management department. The educational grounds at IITM occupy 12 acres of land and provide educational opportunities to a total of 840 students through each of its programs.
