Allahabad University is a central university.
Placements: Training and placement cell of Allahabad University is good and very supportive. They help students in all ways they can. The training and placement cell brings top companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Cisco.
Infrastructure: In our college, some areas are reported to be poorly maintained despite being impressive. Each branch has separate buildings for classes, and every department has all basic facilities like a fan, a tubelight, a smart board, Wi-Fi labs, and a water cooler facility.
Faculty: In higher semesters, students report minimal classroom teaching and a lack of lab guidance. Exams are often considered a cost effective option.
Affordable fees with reasonable facilities and academic reach. Result handling, misreported attendance, mark discrepancies, questionable evaluation practices, and slow evaluation responsiveness.

Not fully satisfied but not dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: A minimum students get placement. The highest is 3 LPA, and if we talk about the minimum, it may be 2.40 LPA approximately. Khan Global Studies, Azim Premji Foundation, and HCL Teach visit our college. 10% to 15% get internships. We get summer internships and winter internships. We get assistant posts mostly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but professors and assistant professors are very good. Hotel facilities are also good. They provide us with good food. They provide us with a lot of things, just like that, festival arrangements, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Professors and assistant professors are very helpful. They are always available for any type of study help. According to me, this course is not made to prepare students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are sometimes very hard and sometimes average. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I think this is a good course.

A brief review of a government college.
Placements: Placements are minimal or even negligible in this college. The average package someone has received is around 4-5 LPA. Most students opt for further studies like CAT for MBA, while others prepare for government job examinations. There are no internship opportunities here.
Infrastructure: I am not placed in any hostel as the seats are reserved only for top scorers. The classroom is old and shabby, which is expected since it is a fully government college. In our faculty, classes for girls and boys are held at different timings.
Faculty: Teachers and professors here are very active in class and are among the best educators in India. Their way of speaking and interacting in class is very positive, and students who attend their classes feel delighted by their way of speaking.
Other: As a commerce student, I am entitled to pursue this course. The campus life is not as flashy as one might expect since there are no fests or events held in our college.

Placements: Around 70% students get placement in the third year of college. Around 50% students get internship in 3rd year of college. Training and placement cell of Allahabad University is good. Training and placement cell is very supportive. TPO gives regular updates on campus placement.
Infrastructure: Campus of Allahabad university is very huge and aesthetic. You fall in love with the campus of Allahabad University. Modern classroom, Wi-Fi labs, and a water cooler facility at Allahabad University are present. Infrastructure is very old, as this college was established 100 years ago.
Faculty: The maximum faculty members of Allahabad University are guest faculty. The maximum students opt for higher studies. Maximum students prepare for government examinations like UPSC, state PSC, Banking exams, etc. Star facilities are available for teaching at Allahabad University. Teachers are good, helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, intelligent, and experienced.

Depends on what field you're interested in.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college. The law graduates from this college usually go for litigation and judiciary after their course completion. Students also give PSU exams for law officers. Graduation from here doesn't guarantee you a job. Work hard.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large enough and airy. Fans and lighting are okay. There is no air conditioning available in the class. The auditorium is a good one. The library is equipped with standard textbooks. There is a dedicated moot courtroom. The college has an average canteen.
Faculty: The college follows the syllabus as per the University of Allahabad, as it is a constituent college. The faculty is well-qualified and supportive. The course is semester-based. Each semester has 6 subjects, each carrying 100 marks. 60 marks comprise external (end sem) and 40 internal.
Other: The fees for the first year are 50,000, and for the subsequent 4 years, it is 45,000 each. There is no "fun" in the college. Studies are okay. Do not expect college life to be very exciting.
