Package is secondary thing for any college. First you should look after it's course, teaching methods, faculties. ITM believes in practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge. So you'll get more experience here than in any other colleges. An when we talk about package it's average package is around Rs 5.5-6 and highest is Rs 14. This package totally depends upon your capability and your focus on studies.

I think, first you should go for your GD-PI of XIME and wait for it's result, and if due to some reasons, you are not able to get admission in XIME, then you should keep ITM as an option. You will get admission in ITM till April. Or else, if you are scared that your seat will be taken by some other candidate, then you can reserve your seat by paying an amount of INR 25,000 as registration fees, and if afterwards, you are not willing to take admission in ITM, then you can cancel your registration and only Rs. 1,000 will be deducted from your registration fees as per AICTE norms.

According to me, ITM-Navi Mumbai will be the best PGDM institute for you. As you will get more exposure in ITM than you'll get in XIME-Bangalore. ITM covers students from all over India and so students come from all the parts of India which gives more exposure to the students. When we come to the placements, ITM offers highest 14 LPA and minimum 5 LPA. So, in all terms, ITM will be a good option.

Competitive scores doesn't carry much weight for admission in ITM. ITM mainly focuses on students practical knowledge. As the competitive scores might fall down of a student due to some reasons and basically ITM focuses on practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge in the course curriculum also.

ITM, Navi Mumbai is very good for marketing. As it's faculty members and guest faculty members are very much experienced. When we talk about placements it's at the top. It offers Rs 14 the highest and Rs 5 minimum and an average of Rs 6-6.5.
