CMAT 2026 question paper was released in the form of an answer key PDF. The CMAT 2026 exam paper is provided here. There were a total of 100 questions in the question paper. The CMAT 2026 exam was divided into five different sections; Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques, Language Comprehension, GK, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The exam difficulty was from easy to moderate. Candidates who appeared for the exam did not see any changes in the pattern or any surprise questions as such.

CMAT 2026 Question Paper: Language Comprehension
Language Comprehension section of CMAT 2026 had questions from FIB, Replace underlined phrase, Passive voice, Cloze passage [3 blanks], Parajumbles, Jumbled sentence, Grammar (Compound Sentence, Articles, Noun-types), Sentence Correction. An attempt of 16-17 questions with maximum accuracy will be enough to get a good score in this section.
CMAT 2026 Question Paper: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
CMAT exam question paper 2026 had questions on Time-speed-distance, Ratio-Proportion, Profit & Loss, SI-CI, Alligation and Mixtures, Triangles, Probability, Surds & Indices, Quad equation, Linear equation, Pie charts. An attempt of 16-17 questions will be good enough in this section.

Sectional weightage of CMAT is same. Since the Language Comprehension section of CMAT includes reading comprehension passages, it can be considered a lengthy section. However, any other section can also be lengthier due to nature of the questions.
Yes, there is a negative marking in CMAT exam. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. However, no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
If you have appeared for CMAT before then you can prepare for another attempt only with mock tests as you would be already thorough with the syllabus and topics. You would also know your strengths and weakness. So, with CMAT mock tests, you will be able to revise and prepare accordingly. However, if you haven't appeared for CMAT or any national level MBA entrance exam before, you will need to cover the syllabus and then practice mock tests. In both scenarios, GK section will have to be prepared through year books. Only mock tests will not be helpful for CMAT GK.

CMAT 2026 Question Paper: General Awareness
The General Awareness questions of CMAT question paper 2026, included static and current affairs topics from science, sports, Indian constitution, history, India and its culture. Attempting 8-12 questions will be enough to meet the sectional cut off.
CMAT 2026 Question Paper: Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The topics such as Bootstrapping, Startup valuation, Fabian entrepreneur, Angel investment, Lean startup, Trademark, Feasibility analysis, etc. were a part of the CMAT question paper's Innovation section. Most of the questions were easy. Many students got 15-17 answers correct.
