JCE is famous for recruiting respected and well-experienced staff members. Plenty of them possess M.Tech and Ph.D. qualifications in addition to both teaching and industry experience. Many students say that their tutors are supportive, accessible and have in-depth knowledge, so they add good value to the classroom. A few concerns about certain subjects and student numbers are sometimes brought up, yet, most people see the faculty as dedicated and skilled.

The process of getting into JCE is not always the same for everyone. In order to apply for popular CSE branches through KCET or COMEDK UGET for B.E./B.Tech, you should aim for a rank below KCET CSE's closing rank which is around 39,830. There are new cutoffs every year. Applying for admission under Management Quota is easier, but it is more expensive. Just as with other branches, students get into PG courses after taking exams such as Karnataka PGCET. Basically, non-fraternity schools don't require top academic scores, but you still need good results in the required entrance exams.
