B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Overall, college is average, ROI is good, CSE placements 90%(approx), avg 6LPA, 85–90%in JEE.
Placements: Approximately 90% percent of students are placed in CSE, which is a very good number. Recently, the highest Package was 33LPA given by Amazon, and average was 6LPA. Top companies that recruit here are Amazon, ServiceNow, Accenture, etc. Here, the AIDS branch is also good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good here. They are constantly improving the infrastructure. Main attraction on the campus is central library. Wi-Fi is only available in library, not in classes. In hostel, food is average like other hostels, there are 2-3 sports court where students can play badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc. Lastly Canteen in college: there is a good canteen with enough space, and prices are also reasonable.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful here, they teach quality content. Like in my case, 2-3 Professors have done a PhD in their subject. RTU Curriculum is followed here. Curriculum is somewhat outdated, as in CSE they are teaching C and for DSA, C/C+. They say that C is basic and helps, but actually, they should also teach any other language. In first year, every engineering lab is available to everyone, like I am a CSE student, but we learn Civil, mechanical, electrical, and these engineering also.

β€œGood infrastructure & supportive faculty, decent placements, but curriculum needs improvement”.
Placements: In my B. Tech CSE batch at JECRC College, nearly 85–90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 44 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 6.7 LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Around 70–75% of students also secured internships in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and startups. The top roles offered are software engineer, web developer, data analyst, and system engineer, ensuring strong career opportunities.
Infrastructure: The CSE department at JECRC College is well-equipped with modern classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, digital libraries, and advanced computer labs with the latest software and hardware support. The library provides access to journals, e-resources, and study material. Hostels offer decent facilities with furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, and common areas. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food with multiple options. Medical facilities with a president doctor and tie-ups with nearby hospitals ensure quick support. The campus also promotes sports and games through dedicated grounds, indoor facilities, and events, encouraging both academic and extracurricular growth.
Faculty: At JECRC College, the teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, making concepts clear through practical examples and interactive sessions. The CSE course curriculum is regularly updated with industry-relevant subjects like AI, data science, and cloud computing, ensuring students are industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on both theory and practical understanding, but with proper preparation, they are manageable. The pass percentage is consistently high, usually above 90%, as students receive continuous guidance, study material, and mentoring support throughout the course.
Other: I chose B.Teach CSE because of my strong interest in technology, coding, and problem-solving. The best things about this course are practical learning, good placement opportunities, and exposure to industry-oriented skills. However, I wish the course included more live projects and collaborations with startups. JECRC College offers vibrant campus life with cultural and technical fests like Renaissance, active student clubs, and excellent peer interaction. The campus has good connectivity, a lively crowd, and various extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also provided for meritorious students, making the overall experience academically enriching and socially engaging.

I'm absolutely satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: There are a total of 90 students in my branch, but only 50 students are placed in the recruiting companies. At Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, the highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre is too good in comparison to other colleges. There are a lot of Wi-Fi connections in my college, and there are good washroom facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, well-behaved, and helpful in all manner. They support students in their academics, and also support them in their personal life problems, like mental and physical problems. The semester exams are easy. My course is very easy to understand.

Good placements, supportive faculty, vibrant campus life, and need more diverse opportunities.
Placements: Engineering (especially CSE and allied) has a stronger placement outcome, with average packages around 6 LPA and top placements up to 33 LPA. Placement rates are estimated to be between 80% and 90%. MBA and non-tech streams tend to receive fewer high-end placements, with many offers falling in the 4 LPA-5 LPA range. Internships are built into the curriculum and supported through training and evaluation tools, though exact conversion rates aren't published.
Infrastructure: JECRC offers Wi-Fi-enabled campus, modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a rich library. Hostels have decent rooms with basic amenities, while food in the mess and canteen is average. Medical support is available 24/7, and good sports facilities encourage games and fitness.
Faculty: JECRC teachers are generally qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is decent, with practical exposure and industry-like sessions. The curriculum is updated and industry-oriented, especially for technical courses. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, focusing on understanding over rote learning. The pass percentage is usually high, around 85%-95%, as most students clear with proper preparation.
Other: I chose this course for good career prospects and strong industry demand. The best things are practical learning, placement support, and exposure to top recruiters. Improvements could be in research opportunities and more diverse recruiters. JECRC hosts vibrant fests, hackathons, and cultural events with an energetic crowd. The campus is well-connected, offers scholarships, and has active clubs for extracurricular activities, making student life engaging and balanced.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and the past placements.
Placements: Many students are placed in our course, and highest package of our college is 52 LPA, and average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, BlinkIt, Zomato, etc. Almost all students got internships from our course, like at Google, Amazon, and something is low.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our course is well managed and followed by the teachers. If we talk about hostel, that is also very good, and the warden of the girls ' hostel is a lady, and of the boys', gets good quality food provided in hostel, and the lift facility is also in our hostel. Almost all sports are present. All labs in our college are good.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is good, and the teaching is very understandable. They provide practical knowledge where necessary, and the pass percentage required for a student to pass the semester exam is 40% otherwise, the student gets a backlog.
Other: I chose this course because of the AI future.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

For CSE students, there's great exposure, good placements, and growing infrastructure.
Placements: As a student from the 2026 B.Tech CSE batch, I can say that around 70–75% of students in our course are placed. In the last placement drive, the highest package is over 50 LPA (from Microsoft off-campus), while most students received offers between 4–10 LPA. The average package is around 6–7 LPA. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Cisco, Capgemini, and ZS Associates visited our campus. Around 60% of students secured internships, mostly in TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, and other service-based companies. Product-based companies offered full-time roles such as software developer, data analyst, cloud engineer, and full stack developer. If you are a good coder, you are good to go.
Infrastructure: The CSE department is well-equipped with modern labs, decent Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The central library is spacious and updated, with access to e-books and journals. Hostel facilities are good enough, the rooms are clean, the food is average, and the Wi-Fi works, though not 24/7. Our college has food canteens, medical facilities, and 24/7 ambulance services. Sports grounds for cricket, volleyball, basketball, and indoor games like TT and chess are good. There are a total of 3 hostel buildings, with 2 for boys and 1 for girls (with AC).
Faculty: Most faculty members are qualified and approachable, especially in the CSE department. They are helpful but a bit lazy, and some classes can feel boring or rushed. The curriculum is aligned with industry needs, with subjects like DSA, AI-ML, and Cloud Computing taught in detail. Sometimes, we also have project-based learning and hackathons. Semester exams are not really that hard, they might feel easy to moderate in difficulty if you study at the time of exams. The pass percentage is around 85 to 90%, and internal marks help if you perform well in labs and submissions.
Other: I personally got this course when I applied for an upward movement, and I'm glad I did it because even as an average student, you can easily survive and lead a good, fun-loving college life. The best thing about the CSE department is that they're serious about things when it's required. The TPO is good and helpful. The college is well and good, but if something needs to be changed, it's the practical aspect of education. Events, fests, and everything else are like every other college; you'll have to pay for the fest (something around 500).

based on previous years:

  • For General category students:

    • Class 12 PCM scores above 70–75% are typically competitive.

    • JEE Main percentile in the 65–85 range could make you eligible.

  • Reserved categories and state quota candidates may have lower cutoffs.
