B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.0
Good placements, supportive faculty, and decent campus life.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech CSE (2029 batch). Placements are decent if you have good coding skills and maintain your CGPA. Around 70% of students get placed every year. The highest package is around 44 LPA, and the average package is close to 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and Amazon visit the campus. Many students also get internship opportunities before final placements. Most students are offered roles like Software Engineer, QA Engineer, SDE, and Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Computer labs have all the basic software needed for practical work, and classrooms are clean. The library is useful for studying. Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Hostel rooms are okay, and security is also good. Mess food is average, sometimes good, and sometimes not. The canteen has better options at reasonable prices. Sports facilities are also available. Medical help is provided whenever required. Overall, I am satisfied with facilities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and explain topics properly if you attend classes regularly. Some faculty members are really supportive, while a few depend more on presentations. The syllabus covers the basics, but students should also learn extra skills like coding and projects on their own. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study regularly. Internal marks also help, so the overall pass percentage is quite good.
Other: I chose CSE because I am interested in the IT field and it offers good career opportunities. College life is enjoyable because of technical events, cultural fests, and different clubs. The campus crowd is decent. There are scholarship options for eligible students. I think the college should focus more on industry projects, better internship opportunities, and more practical learning so students get better exposure before placements.

Good college, but not the best, with not many opportunities in Rajasthan.
Placements: 80% students are placed. In recent years, the institute has achieved over 2,000 placement offers during placement drives. Phase-1 of placements in 2025-26 saw 1,030+ offers made by more than 80 companies. The highest packages reported have been between 33 LPA and 44 LPA in recent cycles. The average package generally falls around 6 LPA to 6.8 LPA (some reports show slightly higher depending on batch and calculation). A large number of students secure offers above 7 LPA in strong placement years.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, average faculty, limited practical exposure. Decent campus life, but faculty support needs improvement. Strong infrastructure, mixed teaching quality, average placements. Good facilities and events, academics could be better. Average academics with good extracurricular opportunities. Nice campus and festivals, but the learning experience is moderate.
Faculty: Many students say teachers are helpful, qualified, and supportive, and they explain concepts clearly. Some reviews describe faculty as well-trained with good experience, giving practical insights beyond just theory. Some mention inclusion of coding, projects, practical labs, and industry exposure that make learning useful few reviews mention that the curriculum alone isn’t enough to be Industry-ready. Unless supplemented with internships, self-learning (especially coding), and real project work.
Other: Modern classrooms with ICT/ smart boards and comfortable seating are available. Wi-Fi is available on campus, especially in library areas. Some students note it may not be strong everywhere indoors (e. g. , not always in all classrooms). Departments have well-equipped labs for disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical. A central library with a large collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, competitive exam books, and digital resources is available.

One of the best in Jaipur. Well-maintained. Worth the money.
Placements: Placements were good for the current year. It's all transparent. You can check on the JECRC website as well. The college pushes students and helps them get placed through hand-holding, which is not common in private colleges in Jaipur or anywhere else. Thank you.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi-equipped hostels and air-conditioned mess. The food is also tasty and very well-maintained. The bed is also comfortable. There is a table and chair in good condition, along with a cupboard provided. 24/7 warden support is available. You won't feel closed inside the campus. Thank you.
Faculty: Teachers good and teaches properly. In the 1st semester, you won't even realise how soon it will end. You'll think it just started, and suddenly the 1st semester is over. You should be prepared for exams from your side as well. Teachers will do their work properly. Thank you.
Other: One of the best colleges in Jaipur.

All about JECRC Foundation.
Placements: I belong to the B.Tech (Engineering) course at the CSE department, and I am a first-year student. The placement percentage is around 80%, and the highest package is 56 LPA off-campus and 28 LPA on campus. The average package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest goes as low as 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: It's on the alright side, the classes don't have any AC, but the ventilation is good, so it's not hot. The hostel is good, but the food is pretty bad, and the warden is strict. There are a lot of permission issues, and the hostel is very strict, they don't provide mattresses either.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The course is somewhat relevant and somewhat not like any average third-tier college. The midterms are on the easier side, and the end sem is harder, but if you study for 1 or 2 weeks, you will do well in any exams represented by college.

College has good bus facility. The highest package offered was in 2023.
Placements: Mostly computer science and engineering students are in the college. The highest package of college is in the CSE branch, which is above 50 LPA. Like Amazon and Flipkart companies come to JECRC. But those who got an internship and placement all did it with their hard work.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre are good. Campus, classroom, labs and library are all neat and clean. And in the library there is free Wi-Fi for PC. Provide good quality food in the mess and canteen. There is a personal space for sports.
Faculty: We are thankful to all teachers who gives us their precious time even after class. Their teaching qualification and knowledge are doubtful. Some of paper was easy, some was moderate, and some was lengthy even the time was short to love overall.
Other: I chose it for a good placement and a better life in future.

All faculty members are good, and there is no doubt about it.
Placements: The highest package from JECRC in Computer Science and Engineering is about 50 LPA. Big companies like Amazon visit JECRC. However, not all students get these internships and placements; they need to work hard and smart. Only a few students get placed.
Infrastructure: The campus, classrooms, labs, library, and canteen are neat and clean. The library has free Wi-Fi for PCs. The infrastructure is good. There are two girls’ and two boys’ hostels on campus, and the quality of rooms and food is nice. There are personal spaces for sports like badminton, basketball, and football.
Faculty: There is no doubt about teachers’ qualifications and knowledge of their subjects. Some teachers explain very well, while some who joined recently take some time. Recently, MTT-1 was conducted. The paper was moderate for some and moderate to tough for others.
Other: There are good placement offers in the CSE branch. All college events are organized by the clubs, which show their unity.

Not satisfied with the placement provided by the college. You need to do self for a good placement.
Placements: 60-70 percent of students got placed from my college. 52 LPA is the highest package, around 2 LPA- 3 LPA is the lowest package, and 5 LPA-6 LPA is the average package. Recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, and IBM. Around 70 percent of students got internships in TCS. Roles offered are software development and data analytics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, surrounded by trees and flowers. Wi-Fi is available in all blocks. Classrooms are well-maintained. The luxury library is given no extra charges. The quality of food is average. Medical facilities like ambulance services are available at all times. Sports we have 3 different grounds with 2 badminton courts, 1 basketball court, and 1 volleyball court.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful but some teachers are not good. However, well-qualified with good teaching skills, I think the course of the first year is not relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. In 1st year, the even semester is tough but all semesters are average.
Other: In JECRC, you have to join a college. The clubs are super excited. Clubs give you skills. I also joined some clubs. For coding, we have Marvel Cart, for dance, we have Engima, for fashion, we have Adaa, for go chart, and especially for mechanical, we have Moonriders and many more clubs.

Overall, college is average, ROI is good, CSE placements 90%(approx), avg 6LPA, 85–90%in JEE.
Placements: Approximately 90% percent of students are placed in CSE, which is a very good number. Recently, the highest Package was 33LPA given by Amazon, and average was 6LPA. Top companies that recruit here are Amazon, ServiceNow, Accenture, etc. Here, the AIDS branch is also good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good here. They are constantly improving the infrastructure. Main attraction on the campus is central library. Wi-Fi is only available in library, not in classes. In hostel, food is average like other hostels, there are 2-3 sports court where students can play badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc. Lastly Canteen in college: there is a good canteen with enough space, and prices are also reasonable.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful here, they teach quality content. Like in my case, 2-3 Professors have done a PhD in their subject. RTU Curriculum is followed here. Curriculum is somewhat outdated, as in CSE they are teaching C and for DSA, C/C+. They say that C is basic and helps, but actually, they should also teach any other language. In first year, every engineering lab is available to everyone, like I am a CSE student, but we learn Civil, mechanical, electrical, and these engineering also.

Yes, you can get the lateral entry at JECRC through LEEP entry, that gives you admission directly into the second year of engineering after the diploma.
