Good college for career development.
Placements: In my course, only 25 percent of students got placed for a job. The highest package is around 3 LPA and the lowest is 1.50 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies that come to our department for placement. I couldn't find a current official percentage specifically for the Petrochemical batch. Typical petrochemical roles include Process/Production Engineer, Chemical/Petrochemical Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Production Trainee, Process Technician, Operations Engineer, and Safety/Environment roles.
Infrastructure: The campus is very nice and has a good atmosphere to study but the labs are too old even some machines are not working properly and the teachers are too good they help us to study better. I am a day-scholar student and I don't know about the hostel but the hostel is newly constructed and good to stay in. Our college supports sports very much. They give full support to sports students and the canteen is good. They provide good food to students at a cheap rate.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpfuL, qualified, and also very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. If you're referring to B.E. Petrochemical Engineering at JCT College of Engineering & Technology, I would say the curriculum is fairly relevant and gives a good foundation for core-industry jobs, but it is not enough by itself to make every student completely industry-ready. The exams are very simple they give full guidance for the exam. The pass percentage is around 97 percent of students from my department passed.
Other: I chose the course because I am interested in working in the chemical industry and it has a great future. The best thing about the course is that we will get a job easily because the demand for chemical engineers is High. I wish the course had more practical and industry-oriented training. More internships, industrial visits, hands-on projects, and exposure to modern petrochemical software and technologies would be helpful. Our college conducts events regularly. The campus is too crowded. The students have very friendly behaviour, even the teachers. Campus surroundings are very peaceful. They provide good scholarships. Also, they provide good extracurricular activities.

My experience - Pros and cons in details.
Placements: Placements here are average. For computer science, the maximum package offered is around Rs 25,000 per month, which is low compared to industry standards. Petroleum engineers perform better, with packages up to Rs 40,000 per month. While the placement cell provides some support, many students rely on off-campus opportunities for better offers. Overall, placements are decent but not ideal if you are seeking high on-campus packages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Many labs are not well-maintained, and in some, the computers are mostly non-functional. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. There are two hostels, the old hostel, which is rusty and poorly maintained (mostly allotted to reserved category students), and the new hostel, which is comparatively well-maintained. The food quality is not very good but manageable. Basic medical facilities are provided on campus.
Faculty: After the college became autonomous and seats increased. Many new teachers are hired but most of them lack proper experience. The teaching quality is slightly below average since some just read from notes or use online material and are unable to clear doubts effectively. Even a few senior staff members do not provide much practical exposure. The curriculum is good and industry-based, but self-study is necessary as classes are mostly about attendance. Exams are easier due to the autonomous system, so passing is not tough. Students get a lot of free time here, which can be used productively.
Other: I picked this college because I was looking for something beyond academics. I want the space to figure out my interests and build real-world skills at my own pace. Campus is green, calm, and gives a good vibe for learning. Extracurricular activities are encouraged. Campus life is lively with fests, events, and cultural programs that are enjoyable. This college is better for students who like to depend on self-study and personal growth instead of only relying on teachers or placements. Overall, it gives a fair balance between studies, activities, and time for skill development.

Comfortable environment with all the essential facilities.
Placements: Our college placements are too good. The highest package offered in our course is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies in our course are Intouch, Cognizant, IBM, etc. Around 60% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure like good sports facilities, computer labs with well equipments. Hostel facilities are also available with basic amenities like 24X7 security, wardens, and CCTV. Medical help is always available.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified. They teach in a very simple and easy-to-understand manner. They make sure that students understand the core concepts before moving ahead. Teachers regularly conduct doubt-clearing sessions and help with academic and project work.

This is my experience during my graduation.
Placements: Most of the students passed out with 60-75%, then the college offering least packages only 2 LPA and 3 LPA. Also, they provide rare jobs. Many BPO companies come to campus which will hurt a lot. It will be the worst experience I get in my college.
Infrastructure: My course is computer science and business systems. It will mainly focus on CS and business subjects taking CSE comparison. CSBS will help some boost, classrooms are casual, and classrooms are not fixed in any digital education. Some important topics will explain using projectors. Library is available and all books are available. But library is available on campus, not in hostel. Food is full of Tamil and Kerala style, not for Andhra Pradesh students. Mainly cricket passion students don't choose this college because no ground is available.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and you know some staffs are so strict. Students do not have any technical skills. During their engineering because they won't get from the college side. It will affect a lot, and mainly pass percentage is 50%. It will provide some tough for students because 100 marks Q paper pass mark is 50.
Other: Events and fests organised super. You feel like outside events but cultural amount charges my student side, full amount needs to be paid only by students, that is the worst thing I have ever seen in this waste college, that fest is mandatory to pay for each student.

JCT College had a good placement percentage in 2021.
Placements: JCT College of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore has good placements, with around 80% of students placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 6 LPA. Around 85% of students get internships. In 2021, 94% of students were placed, with the highest package of 6 LPA and the lowest package of 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is generally considered average. The hostel facilities, including the mess, canteen, food, and medical services, are related as average. Wi-Fi is available, but it is primarily for lab and office usage. The library has all the necessary departmental books available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and supportive. Many students find faculty to be well-qualified, with good teaching abilities and clear explanations. The college is seen as strong in providing theoretical knowledge, but some students feel that practical knowledge and hands-on experience could be improved.

Review of JCT College of Engineering.
Placements: I did not get a chance to do any internship, so I do not know about it. I heard from the seniors that if we pass in all subjects, then we can go for any type of internship, and it is the best of all. I got the information from my seniors that many students get placed in so many companies. The college provides placements with high salaries in good companies. Many internships are available in the JCT college.
Infrastructure: The hostel food is very good. The food is very healthy and of protein. The hostel fee is very affordable and it is Rs. 60,000. All day different food is available in the hostel mess.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. All the faculty members help us to pass the degree and get better internships. A maximum of faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are difficult. If we study well, then we can definitely pass exams. Faculty members are well-educated.
