The eligibility criteria for candidates of HSC (Academic) and other Equivalent Examinations are as follows:- OC (Open Category): 50% - BC (Backward Class): 45% - MBC & DNC (Most Backward Class and Denotified Community): 40% - SC/SCA/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar/ Scheduled Tribe): 40% Similarly, for candidates of HSC (Vocational), the eligibility criteria are as follows:- OC (Open Category): 50% - BC (Backward Class): 45% Note that all candidates other than OC will have to enclose a copy of the community certificate, issued by the Competent Authority with the application.
