JCT College: A mixed bag of opportunities and limitations.

Faculty: JCT College of Engineering and Technology has experienced faculty members guiding students. The curriculum is comprehensive, with a focus on practical learning. The exam pattern is designed to test students' knowledge and understanding. However, some students find the exam schedule hectic. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, management, and computer applications. Faculty members are supportive, but some students report limited research opportunities...

Comfortable environment with all the essential facilities.

Faculty: Most teachers are qualified. They teach in a very simple and easy-to-understand manner. They make sure that students understand the core concepts before moving ahead. Teachers regularly conduct doubt-clearing sessions and help with academic and project work.

This is my experience during my graduation.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and you know some staffs are so strict. Students do not have any technical skills. During their engineering because they won't get from the college side. It will affect a lot, and mainly pass percentage is 50%. It will provide some tough for students because 100 marks Q paper pass mark is 50.

JCT College had a good placement percentage in 2021.

Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and supportive. Many students find faculty to be well-qualified, with good teaching abilities and clear explanations. The college is seen as strong in providing theoretical knowledge, but some students feel that practical knowledge and hands-on experience could be improved.

Review of JCT College of Engineering.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. All the faculty members help us to pass the degree and get better internships. A maximum of faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are difficult. If we study well, then we can definitely pass exams. Faculty members are well-educated.

My experience - Pros and cons in details.

Faculty: After the college became autonomous and seats increased. Many new teachers are hired but most of them lack proper experience. The teaching quality is slightly below average since some just read from notes or use online material and are unable to clear doubts effectively. Even a few senior staff members do not provide much practical exposure. The curriculum is good and industry-based, but self-study is necessary as classes are mostly about attendance. Exams are easier due to the autonomous system...

The infrastructure and facilities are good. Faculty members are also good here.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also pretty good. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy for students who learn. There are two internal exams in each semester.

JCT college of engineering and technology.

Faculty: Some teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They teach very well, and it's easy to grasp their class. Some staff members are very rude, and some are not knowledgeable and are oblivious to certain things in their fields. Those faculty members are not very helpful. The semester exams are not very difficult. If you study what the faculty says, you will probably pass.

I am satisfied with college.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, and they provide short notes and important topics to help catch up with the syllabus easily. Course and practicals will prepare one to become an employee. Exams are easy for well-prepared students, so they will get good results, above 60%.

The college is good, but the hostel, mess, canteen, food and medical facilities are average.

Faculty: Extracurricular activities: karate and sports like kabaddi and volleyball. The gym facilities are available and free for hostel students. The course curriculum is Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food safety and Food Chemistry. Anna University conducts semester exams.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but dissatisfied with the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty was very good. The teachers were more helpful in helping students score higher marks in semester exams; they are well qualified with Ph.D. and they were more knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The college is autonomous, so the semester exams are very easy.

Overall a little bit above average.

Faculty: The faculty in my department are well qualified and knowledgeable. They're actually helpful, and they're good at teaching, but the only problem I've encountered is that the faculty changes every semester or year, like some of the teachers are designing from college and new teachers are joining. The exams are conducted by the university, and they're a little difficult to clear. Pass percentage is above average.
