B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2024
4.8
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Teachers and the college surroundings are very good. It's better to study. I am proudly saying that.
Placements: In our college, most of the people are selected in the IT sector, like Wipro, Cognizant, and Teleperformance. Some have gotten government jobs related to the electrical department, such as Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer. Some are placed in contact-based roles in solar manufacturing companies. The lowest package is around 1.7 LPA, while the highest package is around 5 LPA per annum. The top roles in our course include skilled and front-end development, back-end development, production management, and machine operation.
Infrastructure: The classroom and college are very good, and in labs, all the equipment is available. They get trained daily about future generation machinery systems, and they provide everything in the labs. Additionally, in the library, there are many authors' books available to improve our knowledge. Sports are also available every day, with 1 hour dedicated to games to train us well in studies and sports.
Faculty: Teachers have good skills in their subjects and possess very good knowledge. Every month, they take students for industrial visits to gain knowledge in core subjects as well. The pass percentage should be above 95% in every semester.
Other: I would like to share my real thoughts about joining this college. I aim to explore both the IT sector and core fields. I would like to see more facilities regarding industrial visits.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.2
1Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
No college, but here is the review.
Placements: The placement for our batch was very poor, only a few people got placed, and not even one placement for core branches. Later, some core branches' students also got placed, but they were very few, only two to three members. I hope they will improve this for my juniors.
Infrastructure: Even though it doesn't have its own campus, it was actually a good college. The hostel food was very nice. But there was no library, now we have one. There was not even a permanent class for any batch group. Also, there was not even a canteen for students. They had to cross the road for any need.
Faculty: Faculty members were actually good. They were very helpful, and they helped us most in our final year with projects and placements. Some were very good at what they do, and some were very poor in terms of teaching. I hope they will improve in the coming days.
Other: The lab facilities should be improved, and more events should be conducted. The administration staff should be improved.

M.Tech. in Digital Systems and Computer Electronics - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A good college for M.Tech with scholarship support and facilities.
Placements: 60-70% of students in my batch got placed through campus placements. The highest salary offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest salary is about 2 LPA, and the average salary is nearly 3 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra visited the campus. Many students also got internships in IT companies. Most students are selected for roles such as software engineer, system engineer, trainee engineer, and technical support.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities in JNTU Jagtial College are good and comfortable. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, with regular water and electricity supply. Hostel environment is safe and disciplined, which is helpful for studies. The mess food is hygienic and satisfactory. The canteen is useful for daily needs. Medical support is available, and students have access to sports and recreational facilities, making hostel life comfortable and pleasant.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good, and doubts are clarified patiently. The curriculum is relevant and covers both theoretical and practical subjects, which helps students gain basic industry knowledge. Semester exams are of moderate difficult, and students who study regularly can pass easily. The pass percentage is good, showing proper academic support from the faculty.
Other: I chose the M.Tech in digital systems and computer electronics course because it offers advanced knowledge in digital design, computer electronics, and embedded systems. This course helps in understanding both theoretical concepts and practical applications, which are useful for higher studies and industry roles. The best part of the course is the experienced faculty, well-structured curriculum, and lab-based learning, which improve technical skills. Some improvement can be made by adding more industry projects, workshops, and internships. Campus environment is calm and supportive, with good connectivity, scholarships, technical events, and extracurricular activities, which help in overall students' development.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

I am satisfied with the good environment around the campus. It has qualified faculty.
Placements: We have 60-70 students in each class. At least 50% of students get placed in good companies. The highest package offered is approximately 50 LPA. The average package offered is 13 LPA. The lowest package offered is 6 LPA in our branch.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained neatly. If we are interested in any other activities like games or sports, then we can join as per our interest, and it will provide the equipment. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of our teaching staff members is comparatively good. The course curriculum of our department makes students industry-ready. It is not that difficult to pass examinations if we study and examine subjects regularly. We have experienced faculty members in our department.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in working on semiconductors and learning more about them.

The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top roles offered are electrical engineer and design engineer. 65% of students got internships here.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

Peaceful campus with decent facilities and supportive teachers, but needs practical improvements.
Placements: Above 60% of students got placed in our course. 12 LPA is the highest package we get from ECE department. Companies like Amazon and Google are top recruiting companies. Many students are interested in joining the internship programs, and many have secured good positions.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college are very good and provide good environment for students. We have good classrooms and well-equipped labs. There is a big library for studies. Good and quality facilities in hostel with mess, canteen, sports, and games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with most holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality is good in theory, but practical exposure is sometimes limited due to outdated lab equipment. The curriculum is designed by JNTUH and is fairly relevant, covering core subjects and electives that help in GATE and job preparation, though it may lack industry-specific skills like current teaching tools. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a mixture of theory and application-based questions. The pass percentage ranges between 75-85%, depending on the subject and student's preparation level.
Other: I am B.Tech ECE student from the 2024-2028 batch. I chose this course due to its wide scope in both core and IT fields. The best part is learning electronics, communication systems, and coding, which helps in placements and exams like GATE. However, lab equipment needs improvement and more practical training is needed. Campus hosts technical and cultural fests like TechFest and Jignasa. The crowd is friendly and mostly from rural areas. Though the college is in a remote area, it is well-connected by TSRTC. Scholarships and extracurricular activities like sports and NSS are also available.
