B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

It is a good one for a government college.
Placements: Nearly 60 percent of Computer Science students get placed. The highest package is around 21 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is about 8–9 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Oracle, Zeta, Verisk, Viasat, and Honeywell. The percentage of internships is unknown. Some of the top roles offered are data analyst, DevOps engineer, and machine learning engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for our course are above average. Every classroom has projectors for teaching. Every department has seminar halls and laboratories. Every floor has Wi-Fi access. The college has a central university library and another smaller library with proper facilities. The quality of hostel facilities is below average. The food is worst. The college has an indoor stadium, a ground, and other sports courts.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful regarding the course, and all of them are qualified with Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. The courses are relevant and make students partially industry-ready. Semester exams in our college are considered difficult. The pass percentage is above 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course in this college because I got a free seat. I wish the course would improve its industry-ready curriculum. Events are conducted occasionally. Fests are conducted every year. The college is surrounded by facilities like malls, hostels, theatres, restaurants, and hospitals. Students can apply for scholarships like NSP, FFE, and Reliance Scholarship.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
Placements: Almost 50% of students are placed now, the highest was 52 LPA, the lowest was 6.2 LPA, and the top recruiting companies were DE Shaw and Microsoft! Almost every person got an internship. Top job profiles for students are Software Developers, Full Stack Developers, IT Consultants, and Quality Analysts.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for every department, and every lab has its own Wi-Fi. Everything is good in this college. Good campus-wide coverage, well-equipped with projectors and computers, large modern libraries accessed digitally, and affordable basic facilities in the hostel! Grounds and equipment for major sports.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and keep inspiring us. The curriculum is relevant but can be improved. It makes the students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult, except for 3 or 5 subjects. Others are easy. The pass percentage is around 85%. Although if students fail, they will easily pass the supply exams.
Other: I chose this college because of its curriculum, experienced teachers, good infrastructure, and so on.

Satisfied with placements and with faculty up to a certain level.
Placements: There are pretty good placements in our college. The average package might hit around 5 to 7 LPA. A large percentage of students get placed in their 7th semester itself and have very good job roles offered. Large companies and mass hiring take place. Around 70% get placed from the shortlisted ones.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and classrooms are good. We have an excellent university library with a lot of good books, and we even have a small library for general purposes. Our labs are a bit old, but nonetheless, they work very well and satisfy the requirements in most cases. Our department overall looks nice.
Faculty: Our faculty is good, encourages us, and are highly talented professors with an excellent level of professional knowledge. Our course curriculum is excellent and covers the present teaching requirements needed for top companies. Our course makes us industry-ready as soon as we complete it.
Other: I chose this course because it is the present trend and has a lot of scope in the future, and it plays well. We need to work hard, and this plays accordingly.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2027

Review by the First Batch of Cybersecurity at JNTUH.
Placements: In the academic year 2025-2026, as of now, under the CSE branch, 23 students got placed with an average package of 13 LPA. From the CSM branch, 20 students got placed with an average of 11 LPA. Oracle recruited around 10 students for a 20 LPA. The top roles are SDE roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with projectors. There is departmental Wi-Fi. There are many libraries, the main one being the university library, which has 3 floors. The hostel is of moderate quality. The food quality is better than that of other hostels. There is a university healthcare centre.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are quite friendly. The course curriculum is well updated, and I hope it makes the students industry-ready. I feel like there is scope for improvement. The semester exams are not that hard, and many students pass easily.
Other: I chose this course as it is trending and evergreen. There is also a cybersecurity club that has been recently inaugurated. This year, our college introduced a cultural fest, whereas previously we only had a technical fest.

Good faculty and peaceful surroundings.
Placements: My course is B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 50-60 percent of students got placed from my course. The average package offered in my course is about 3 LPA. 40 percent of students got internships from my course, but not every internship from top companies. The placement percentage is a little low compared to Computer Science.
Infrastructure: The facilities for my course and hostel are quite good. I really like the infrastructure of my college. But it's not modern as it is an old university. The facilities in the hostel are not that great. Classrooms, library, and labs are good enough. The food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are really tough. The pass percentage is 70 percent. We have the syllabus related to all branches in the first year. My faculty is kind.
Other: I wanted to join JNTU since the 10th standard. I hope the placement percentage increases. The campus is really spacious.

Not a great college, but decent.
Placements: In 2024, the placements from our course were excellent. 72 percent of the students got placed in the campus placements. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the average package offered was 4 LPA. JK Construction, DLF, Tata, and TCS were the top recruiting companies from our course. 73 percent of the students got their internship certificates from good companies. The top roles include leading the team and being a structural engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus was widely spread along 45 acres of land with many great facilities like separate blocks for different branches of students, AC classrooms, library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, placement rooms, auditorium, project labs, lawn, waiting room, indoor complex, etc. The hostel was also excellent in providing quality facilities like good food, clean rooms, and a hygienic environment. The medical team was doing an excellent job. They were available to the students the entire day. The sports and games were played every day in the college grounds after college.
Faculty: The faculty were really helpful for the students in teaching the concepts clearly. They are highly recommended for the students as they are highly qualified and well-experienced in their course. The course curriculum of our course is really giving amazing results in making many students ready for the industry. The semester exams were mostly good enough to pass. The pass percentage was 80 percent.
