Supportive Faculty and Modern Facilities but Needs Better Placement Opportunities.
Placements: College placements were below average and 2 to 3 members were selected from each branch. There were no more scope in on-campus placements. We were looking forward to off-campus placements because our college was a government college. Handy College was far from the city.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. But actually, there was no civil engineering in my college. The infrastructure has one block for CSE and IT, another block for ECE and EEE, and for mechanical, there is an admin block too. In that admin block, only first-year students will be there.
Faculty: The college was overall good. Our college exam fee was around 800 for each semester. The faculty in most technical colleges plays a pivotal role in shaping a student’s academic journey, and this is no different at JNTU. The teachers here are generally helpful, offering guidance to students who seek it. Most are approachable and willing to clarify doubts both inside and outside the classroom. However, the level of interaction largely depends on the teacher’s individual style. The faculty qualifications are typically solid, with many holding advanced degrees like M.Tech or Ph.D.
Other: The college hosts several annual events and technical fests, which provide a platform for students to showcase their skills and network with peers. Extracurricular activities like coding competitions, robotics workshops, and cultural events are fairly common. However, participation can be limited due to the academic load.

Our college - An Open Book.
Placements: In our college, placement is available only for 4th-year students. In our senior batch, about 75% of the members are placed. The companies that recruit our college students are Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Nearly 75% of students got internships at companies like Accenture and Cognizant. The top roles offered in our course are Data Scientist, Machine Learning Expert, and mostly internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is pretty good. There are excellent labs for practical-based learning, and the library has a huge collection of books. Classrooms also have LAN connections and projectors, which enhance digital-based learning. The facilities are also good. The hostel is neat, and the mess food is not too good but edible. The canteen offers a variety of dishes that are super affordable. For medical emergencies, we have a dispensary, and for sports and games, we have 4 playgrounds.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and help us clear doubts and enhance practical-based learning. The curriculum is somewhat rigid, but our teachers explain it in an easier way. The semester exams range from medium to difficult, and the pass percentage for the semester is 89%.
Other: I chose CSE as IT is ruling the world nowadays. I hope that, during the course duration, instead of keeping non-credit subjects, they can offer some useful subjects relevant to our branch. Our college barely conducts events. We have an annual fest and a branch-wise fest every year. Every eligible student will receive fee reimbursement, and all of our college students connect through a college group. The extracurricular activities are managed by NSS.

Inside JNTUHUCEJ - Strong academics and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: I graduated in 2024 from the computer science and engineering department of JNTUH University College of Engineering Jagtial. Placements are not very good this year due to the recession. Only 45-50% of students in the CSE batch got placed. Overall, the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Cloud4C, HSBC and some other startups. About 20% of students secured internships in some good companies. The most common roles offered are associate software engineer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Buildings in this college are very spacious. The computer science and engineering department is in an academic block-I, along with this, information security is also available. It contains a departmental library, Wi-Fi connectivity, and computer labs. There is a canteen near to this, which contains good and many food items. The hostel contains many spacious rooms, and a big mess hall, where good food is provided. It also provides Wi-Fi connectivity.
Faculty: Faculty members here are highly qualified and have many years of experience. They provide guidance and mentors during academics and projects. As they have many years of experience, they teach differently, so that all students can understand. The CSE curriculum is well-structured and aligns with industry standards. It covers all core topics and languages. Elective subjects and mini-projects offer students an opportunity to explore emerging technologies. Semester exams are moderately challenging and emphasize both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. Students attend lectures regularly, and practice assignments can perform well.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and environment.
Placements: About 50% of students are placed in our course in our college. The highest package is 13 LPA, the average package is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 30% of students got internships. Top roles are developer, tester, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our course are good. Classrooms are fine, but the projector is a bit slow. Labs are excellent in terms of infrastructure. Wi-Fi is a bit slow in the classrooms and labs. The library is perfect and many books are available. The hostel is not that excellent. The food is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is good. They clear the doubts for students. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Computer science skills are learned. Students are able to code. Semester exams are a bit tough.
Other: I chose this course to explore the computer science and engineering field. This course is good. I would like to remove some unwanted subjects in the first semester that are not at all useful. Events are not frequent on our campus.

Most of the people are interested in this college.
Placements: 40% of students have been placed from our college. The highest package offered was of 13 LPA, the average package is of 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. TCS, Accenture, Amazon, and Wipro are the top recruiting companies of our course. Mostly everyone is selected as a fresher.
Infrastructure: The faculty is quite good, and most are the experienced ones. The labs and classrooms are good enough, and the labs are having good Wi-Fi connections. The hostel is not that good as per the students who are in private hostels. So the hostels should be changed a little bit.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and they are highly qualified. Their teaching is good, and they always use new forms of learning and teach students in a good manner. The course curriculum is also quite good, and it makes students competitive for industry. The semesters are a bit difficult for me.
Other: JNTUH has a diverse and experienced faculty across various departments. Many professors hold advanced degrees and have expertise in their fields, contributing to research and development. They engage in mentorship, guiding students through academics and projects. Overall, the faculty plays a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience at JNTUH.

No, you won't get seat in JNTUH Karimnagar. The closing for CSE is b/w 10-11k Better you may get seat in 3rd counseling, but I am not sure about that.
