Amazing faculty for my course and a really good college.
Placements: Not really satisfied with the placements. The job offers were mostly sales-related, which was really beneficial for me as I have an HR background. The companies were reputable but were offering mostly the same job with a basic pay structure, which was not really mesmerising.
Infrastructure: Facilities like canteens and the basketball court are really good. The menu for the canteen is also really amazing. Labs, classrooms, and the library have sufficient space. Classrooms were huge, accommodating almost 70-80 students. The library had so many knowledgeable and helpful books.
Faculty: Great faculty members for the 3-year BMS course with great knowledge and a helpful nature. Semester exams were conducted very pleasantly and strictly. Teachers were very helpful in solving all the doubts and assisting us with the projects. They were helpful even during the exams.
Other: My course made me ready to face the big MNCs. It gave me the knowledge that I could apply directly in my job. Only if there were more practical elements (real job experience) could it have been better. Various events are celebrated in college, but the Navrang festival is the most famous. There are many competitions held during the event, and various days such as Saree Day, Tie Day, Traditional Day, etc., are kept for the students to enjoy.

It has a vibrant campus, strong academics, supportive faculty members, and events.
Placements: 40% of students got placed in the MS course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.9 LPA. 70% of students got internships in companies such as InSync Analytics India Pvt. Ltd., Morning Star, and SSC, acting as top recruiters. Top recruiting companies for our course are InSync Analytics, Morning Star, and SSC. The lowest package offered is 2.75 LPA, and the highest package offered is 3.50 LPA for BMS freshers. Roles are offered in sales, telecalling, marketing, and finance. Internships and job offers are mainly from retail or sales-driven companies.
Infrastructure: The sprawling campus is landscaped with a walking path and greenery. It features VIP fibre optic and 24x7 line internet. Wi-Fi access is reported to be limited mostly to the computer labs and not general. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and audiovisual aids. Multiple auditoriums and seminar halls are used for guest lectures, cultural events, and internal workshops. The college has multiple air-conditioned computer labs and a language lab of 30 seats for communication skills training. There is also a psychology lab and a computer lab tailored for visually impaired students. There is a central canteen and cafeteria offering snacks and meals. The food is tasty but somewhat pricey.
Faculty: Many faculty members hold postgraduate degrees, and some are PhD holders. Students describe them as highly qualified and deeply knowledgeable. Teachers are frequently described as supportive, solving doubts, and offering remedial sessions and extra practice where needed, generally clear and structured. Some students describe the delivery as advanced and engaging, though a few indicate average effectiveness for certain subjects. Course topics include contemporary elements like AI, ML, and data analysis, making them aligned with current trends. It has a standard university pattern with internal assessment (40%) and semester exams (60%). The pass percentage is usually around 35-40%.
Other: It was my personal choice. I had an interest in management activities, so I decided to study management and make a career out of it.

The college gives placement in banking sector and other companies.
Placements: The percentage of students who passed out this year was pretty good. Teachers also provide guidance and support. There are many internship opportunities from this college for students in the banking sector and other companies. I am studying BMS here and the package for freshers ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college staff is very friendly including the vice principal and HM, who are always supportive of both students and parents. The campus is large and spacious, with a variety of courses available. There is a gym on the campus, a big ground, and even a Nescafe coffee section.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and always help students. They cooperate with students and assist them in difficult situations. My cousin, who graduated from this college, told me that the female teachers are especially good. The semester exams were difficult, but they should be; otherwise, how will you learn?

A great college in Thane.
Placements: There are more than 150 students in this department (BMS). There are 3 different departments: finance, marketing, and HR. Each department consists of 30+ students. The highest package my seniors got was around 4 LPA. The average package is around 3.5 to 3.7 LPA. Top companies, such as Nestle, Amul, and Hamleys, show interest in recruiting students.
Infrastructure: There are almost every facility, such as Wi-Fi, labs, library, water, etc. The college provides a very good campus life and the facilities included in this college are some of the best. Everything is provided for the students to get benefits and make sure that they are getting everything on time.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very educated. They teach us very well and make sure that we get proper knowledge and clear our doubts. The semester exams are not very hard as the teachers are very friendly and help us clear the doubt without any anger or something. The passing marks for each subject are around 24 to 26 out of 60.
Other: The best thing about my course is the variety of career options. It gives us a wide range of career options and makes so many ways to get a job. The subject and topics can be remastered a little, as every subject has the same thing at least once. The campus is the best thing any college can provide: turf, open space, parking area, basketball court, cricket ground, canteen, and cafe.

Satisfied with overall college, placement are okay and the college surrounding is peaceful.
Placements: 40% of students were placed. The highest package was 3 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Thane Janta Bank. Over 30 students got internships, especially in sales and marketing. The top role offered in our course is Assistant Manager.
Infrastructure: The college is well-facilitated in terms of infrastructure. A vast collection of books is available in the library. A special reading and study room is available for the students, which is well-lit and properly ventilated. Wi-Fi facility is also available. Classrooms are okay. The canteen facility is the worst.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified; most of them are Ph.D. holders and knowledgeable. Due to their experience of more than 3-5 years, they have excellent teaching ability and make topics easy to understand. The course curriculum is quite relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult because a question bank is provided in advance.
Other: It was my personal choice; I was not influenced or advised by anyone. I had an interest in management activities, so I decided to study management and make a career out of it. Various management and inter-college fests take place. All scholarships and freeships are available. The college is also a part of the youth festival, which is conducted by Mumbai University and has a good track record.

The reality of Joshi Bedekar College for BMS.
Placements: Top recruiting companies were: Vijay Sales: they offered an internship during Diwali vacation, a full-time salesmanship with a stipend of Rs. 10,000 a month. Bajaj: Bajaj Finance and EMI details sales job with a stipend of Rs. 5,000 a month (full-time). Imagica: The work was descriptive as managing the crowd during summer, the stipend was not revealed until the interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, with proper lighting and cleaned floors. The Library has more than 2 Lacs books, provides free textbooks for ST students, and has novels too. The food in the canteen is decent, but the misal pav served there is the best among all.
Faculty:
The exam is not that tough; you can study a night before and still score a good CGPA, though it is recommended to attend all the lectures so you can write your own answers through learning. The professors teach in a way that you don't need textbooks; you can always make notes through them and score above 9 CGPA. The college, being autonomous, changes an unnecessary part of the syllabus every semester.
Other: The course before NEP is kind of useless; it has little to nothing to do with the industry or real work world. However, the new syllabus is actually continuing the quality knowledge.
Also, there is a beneficial point to consider for ST students; their fees are generally lower than other students. For example, this year, the fees for general or OBC, SC, etc., were Rs. 28,000, but for ST students, it was only Rs. 13,000. And there are spikes in the fees every year. I paid around Rs. 23,000 for FY, Rs. 25,000 for SY, and Rs. 28,000 for TY.
