In case of our college, the placements are good, and the leading companies come here for the placements like TCS, HP, Mahindra, etc.

I am dissatisfied with placements here.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Kashi Institute of Technology. Approximately 80% of students got placed in 2024. The placement record is not so good, but average. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Many companies visit KIT every year, and the top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 90% of students in the 3rd and 4th year from the CS batch got placed this year in top companies like TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are really good at KIT, like a well-cleaned library, seminar, Wi-Fi labs, and classrooms. In the mess and canteen of KIT, very rich nutrients of food are provided to students. It has the best medical facilities. Sports and games-related facilities are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but many topics are skipped here during classes. The teaching quality is not the best, but fine. Teachers are highly qualified here. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so tough to pass, but still, many students get a backlog.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding and problem-solving. I like to solve LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks. Learning web development is also the best experience of my life.

It is an okay private college for B.Tech in Varanasi.
Placements: Not all students get placed, and those who do usually get a lower package, around 2-4 LPA. Although some students get packages above 6 LPA. They usually get a better package in a sales-based company, and BBA and MBA students get a better package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but unnecessarily does not work in all parts of the campus, like the labs on the upper floors and the library. The classroom has AC, and it works well in the summer with occasional power cuts. There's a library with books available for all branches.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, while others are not. Some teachers teach subjects that they're not familiar with. The curriculum is mostly outdated and offers little to no industry-ready knowledge. The semester exams are difficult compared to the exams conducted by the college.
Other: There are some fests like sports fest and occasional techfests, like the one that happened in 2025.

Review of Kashi Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are available in college as of CSE they say 88.88% of students got placed. Students have the choice to go to tech or non-tech companies it's on you where you want to go or the company you want to choose, it's totally on you but there is less number of tech companies which visit.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and hostel are good. There are different buildings for different tasks and students can go and study in the particular class in which they are. Hostel is also good but mess food is below average, oily food, and hostel rules are very strict.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. They are newly joined with less experience and cannot guide you much but there are few faculty who are experienced. You can take help from them whenever you need. Exams are not very tough but you need to study to score good marks.

If the placement cell works properly and proper guidance is given, then students will benefit.
Placements: Most seniors are good enough and dedicated towards their work and tasks. But, despite having good credits, some get placed in sales companies. Some are guided by the training and placement, which helps them further in getting placed.
Infrastructure: Labs are just for show. If you want to learn something, you need to carry your own laptop. Classes are fair enough to handle students, but they would be more efficient if all classrooms are designed in a curved shape, just being on the stars-like structure.
Faculty: I don't understand why some faculty members are appointed who don't have knowledge of the prior subjects, and no doubt, there are faculty members who are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and experience with students and help a lot in tackling any type of problem. Exams are quite different from what is taken in college and what comes in the final paper.
Other: There must be quality education that helps not only students but also the college to grow together.

It is a decent private college in Varanasi.
Placements: As of this year, placements are kind of okay as a decent portion of students got placed. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA and the highest I heard this year ranges from 9 or 10 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 2-3 LPA and those were of sales companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay and have a projector. Computers in some of labs are more than 10 years old and have damaged parts and accessories. In the hostel, the food quality dropped drastically last year onwards due to more students opting for the hostel and the number of cooks and serves in the mess being the same.
Faculty: Some teachers are genuinely helpful and some are not. They just glaze over the syllabus and either send us PDFs or just use slideshows. The course curriculum needs to be updated as well due to the evolving technology around AI and stuff. It does not make students industry-ready and we get to learn things by ourselves.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been into computers and heard that CSE graduates earn quite well. Events organised are okay, not the best but definitely not bad.

The college has a good infrastructure and placement record. It lacks efficient reaching.
Placements: Placements are above average, but the companies visit are generally and not that related to our tech. More than half of students get placed with a decent salary. Sometimes, placements are not that employee-friendly because of their criteria. Overall, it is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has labs, a library, and sports. There are many computer labs with good computers, and they all are fully air-conditioned. The library is also big enough to manage the whole college, and it consists of several books that are needed.
Faculty: Faculty member's performance is average, and it needs more improvement. Some faculty members are good, while some teach any subject regardless of their main field. This could need more improvement by expanding the salary of the faculty members so that more skilled faculty could join us.
