The best college for placements.
Placements: There were 70 percent of the people who got placed in good MNCs in our college. There are too many companies that hire from our college. There were 82 percent of people who did internships in different companies like plasmid and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Our college has an amazing infrastructure that is full of greenery and peace. There are different labs for each department, as well as a sports department and medical facility on campus. Students also have access to Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The teachers who teach us are highly skilled and educated. They teach us very well and we also do different kinds of activities for better understanding. We don't face any difficulties in our examination. Because our teachers teach us very well, we can do our best in our exams.
Other: I completed my degree at Kasturba Gandhi Degree College for Women in 2024. One of the best things about my course was the availability of on-campus placements, which meant that we didn't have to struggle to find jobs after graduation. The college also has various clubs that students can join to showcase their talents, and offers scholarships to deserving students.

Everything is good, and the surroundings are full of trees and plants.
Placements: Some top recruiting companies were Synchrony and Cognizant which visit our campus to hire students. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: In this college, the food served in the canteen was good. Many sports and games were available. Laboratories and library were provided. Classrooms were very good and big. Several books were available in the library. Classrooms were peaceful and many seats were available for students.
Faculty: Teachers and staff were very helpful and friendly. They help students with their doubts regarding subjects, and courses were always kind to students. Semester exams were tough. If students study properly then they can score well.
Other: It was a good place, and the environment was very calm and peaceful. Our campus was surrounded by trees, and it was greenery everywhere.

It is the best college, where we get good studies and also extracurricular activities.
Placements: It is the best college and brings in good recruiting companies. The interviews are good. We learn many new things in the interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are good. The lectures are good. Labs are good. We learn many courses like C, C+ etc. We can ain good computer knowledge.
Faculty: The teachers are good at teaching. We never feel bored of their lectures. They are knowledgeable. Labs are good, and we get to practice well.
Other: We get scholarships. My course is B.Com. Labs are available to do our work easily and learn many courses like C, C+ etc.

Could've been greater experience, ruined by covid.
Placements: 20-25% of the students were placed in good companies from my course B.Com. The package ranged between 1.7L to 3.2L p. a. depending on the skills of the individual and the company's pay scale. The top recruiting companies were TCS, ADP etc. which was satisfactory.
Infrastructure: The college Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for women has good food in the canteen. Some items are overpriced. Sports and activities like NCC, NSS volunteering are also made available for us students. The hostel is efficient from what I heard from hostelers.
Faculty: The teachers at Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for women are knowledgeable and patient with the students. They are also friendly, help us students pre-exam. The curriculum is diverse, providing us with vast reach of knowledge and opportunities. The semester exams are challenging and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the course as I was interested in commerce and accounting. I don't thing there is anything that needs to be improved in the course. I only wish we had more opportunities like events, fests and outings to bond with fellow students and teachers.

Overall, personality development is encouraged here.
Placements: A very few students from our class were placed in companies like Regalix, etc. Due to Covid-19, our batch was not offered any placement opportunities by the college. So, we either had to search for jobs on our own or opt for higher studies. However, usually, in other batches, the placement rate was good enough as companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc., visited the college. But jobs offered were mostly BPO jobs with a salary package of around 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has different departments, and each department has a separate block. Classrooms are well maintained and neat and clean. There is a lab facility for computer students and different labs for different departments. There is a library and college hostel with proper Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members here have well knowledge, and they are not at all biased. They are always helpful to students to clarify queries. The curriculum is average but not suitable to be industry-ready because there are no industrial visits or practical workshops. Semester exams will be easy as they are conducted by the state university.
Other: Our college organises multiple extra-curricular events very often on the campus like entrepreneurship club, consumer club, flash mobs, NCC, NSS, etc.
