College review of Loyola Academy.
Placements: Above 50% of students get placed in our course. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 6–8 LPA. Companies like EY, HSBC, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Sagility, Sutherland, Optum, and JP Morgan are some recruiters. Above 60% of students get internships at companies like IBM, Amazon, etc. Roles offered in our course include Data Analyst, Accountant, Sales Manager, Auditing roles, etc.
Infrastructure: There are labs with computers of the latest versions, and Wi-Fi is also available. The library has many books and articles, including electronic papers, practical records, and more. It also has computers with Wi-Fi and study halls for each department.
Faculty: The lecturers are friendly with students and are always available if anyone needs them. They have good subject knowledge. The course is relevant and makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are difficult if the students are not attentive. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: It is an excellent course. It gives a better foundation for your career and provides many opportunities. The course can be improved if lecturers explain the subject more practically. There are many extracurricular activities, and our college also helps showcase young talents through events.

My review of this college.
Placements: We have 2 months college internship. I have worked with Globeop for two months. They offered a stipend of Rs. 3,000. Many companies come for interns, like JP Morgan, Globeop, Citibank, Nomura, Crisil, Zee TV, Sony TV, etc. Stipend offered by the companies is Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 5,000, depending upon the company. Good Companies do come to campus with a lucrative profile. Percept, L&T, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Citigroup, Bajaj Capital, Bajaj Finance, IMRB, Nielsen, India Today, Hindustan Times, ITC, PepsiCo, Burp, Business Standard are a few companies that come for recruitment with packages starting from 3 LPA to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very few in comparison to students, but hostels are really good. All necessities are fulfilled there, and it also gives the comfort of luxury. The college has its canteen where different types of menus are available at a low price without compromising on quality and taste.
Faculty: The course is good and it overall helps one to develop confidence and think beyond the average, as the course includes field work as well as presentations. The exam is done on a semester basis in the first year, and the student has to study all the basic courses of management. The faculty members are good, and most of them have very good experience in the corporate and hence it feels good to be present in their lectures. They encourage students to participate in competitions and help with presentations. There are a few visiting faculty members, too, who come for special and guest lectures. We have a semester pattern with both practical and theoretical papers. It has a good mix of projects, which are based on a market study, giving us exposure to the corporations and their operations. Trimester exams are taken by the college, and it is a home exam, whereas the semester exam is the real exam.

Bad faculty, good infrastructure, average placements.
Placements: Placements are there but not so good for all students. Only commerce people have good placements, and a CGPA above 90% is required to get into good placements. If you are an average student, the placements you get are with a salary below 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: In Loyola, one of the best aspects is its infrastructure. Library, computers, canteen, and greenery are the best in all. There are different blocks for different courses, like VSC students have Inigo block, commerce people have the commerce block, and PG students have the PG block.
Faculty: Faculty is like 50/50 because a few lecturers are very hardworking and talented, also caring, whereas a few behave very badly, and exams are very tough. You will have two mid exams, internals, externals, and semester exams in one semester. Cheating is impossible because of CCTV cameras.
Other: You don’t have any events here—no freshers, no farewell, no college day. But you will have something called Resonance conducted every year. You just need to sit under the sun for the whole day and listen to speeches by the principals, vice principals, and deans. That’s it.

My review about this college.
Placements: Banks visited college for internship basis of commerce students. Although I was not selected for it, I know the students who went for it. Campuses were available and companies visited for only the postgraduate courses students. Their stipend was Rs. 6000 per month. Very big companies came here for placements and they also told me about some great placements done. There were regular job fairs which included companies like Deloitte, Flipkart, Amazon, and Delhi Monte like companies to flag their ships around and search for job aspirants in our college. The average package offered by companies was 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel was pretty much above average and food was more than edible. The fees though are high at around Rs. 80,000 for a year. Hostility is given a 2-year contract post which they are supposed to find their accommodation. The hostel culture is pretty healthy.
Faculty: The course was structured well but the lecturers get out easy, they only cover important bits which are the only things that come for the exam. External material was not suggested nor encouraged. We had knowledgeable and experienced faculty, they were top-notch in the subject, and they always taught us how to learn the subject and not just to pass the exam or achieve good grades. They were always supportive of new suggestions to teach it a new way. Sometimes, even though we tried to feed them up with doubts they cleared them. Our college runs in a semester system. Our exam pattern was divided into internals 40 and external 60. Internals 40 includes attendance, records, mid-term, pre-final, seminar, and viva. Pre-final were conducted for 80 marks, and midterm for 50 marks.

My review of this college.
Placements: The opportunities for placements were great. Colleges were interested in various institutions and research labs. If they get any notification from them, they informed students, or if any student wanted to join that institution, they talked to them and, if possible, provided a chance for internships. M.Sc. students from the first to the last semester were eligible for campus interviews. Companies that visited our college included Cipla, Sun Pharma, etc. The highest package given by a company to our college students was 10.5 LPA. I planned to pursue Ph.D. studies in a foreign country.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities were convenient, and we had hostels in the surrounding areas of the campus, although they were very far from the main block. The food in the canteen was hygienic, and the rooms were clean. Watchmen and wardens continuously have a look on students.
Faculty: We had knowledgeable and experienced faculty. They were top-notch in their subjects. They always taught us how to truly understand the subject, not just to pass exams or achieve good grades. They were always supportive of new suggestions and teaching in new ways. Our exam pattern was 40 marks for internals and 60 marks for externals. Internals included attendance, records, mid-term, pre-final, seminar, and viva. Pre-finals were 80 marks, and mid-terms 50 marks, which was 40% of each subject and exam. Viva, seminar, attendance, and records made up a total of 20 marks. The course was good, and the job aligned well with the education provided. The exam system followed a 50-50 credit pattern and included research-based education in the M.Sc. course. It was easy to get a job in pharmaceutical companies and industrial areas. Exams were held every month to analyze students. Government jobs were also an option.

Normal review about Loyola.
Placements: The number of students who got placements is just 14%. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting company that came to our college is Infosys. All students got internships from IBM company. Top roles offered in this course are java developer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available at our course such as there will be a technical workshop and tech fest every year. There is one industrial visit to any tech company. Labs are normal. It is clean but not so high tech. Some systems are outdated. Classrooms are good. Every classroom has a projector and system. The college contains two libraries that has many books available in it. I don't live in hostel.
Faculty: Teacher are well-qualified for teaching. They are maintaining a good relationship with students. The quality of the teaching is good and improving. The course makes students normally industry-ready but not fully ready. Semester exams at our college are very difficult if a student doesn't study. If they study well, they see exams too easily. Answers can be written logically. The pass percentage for students is that the student must pass at internal exam by getting at least 16 marks and the external exam passes by getting 24 marks which makes a total of 40 marks.
Other: I chose this course because it is related to science and computers. There are other courses but they are fully occupied, so I took this course. The teaching methods should be changed the things we learn are theoretical but in the practical world we must know what is answers and how the answers came. There are many events at our college. The main events are resonance and college day. Fests are department fests that take place every year. The campus is fully filled. The college supports extracurricular activities like sports, dance, singing, etc.
