It's a very well-known college.

Placements: Mostly junior engineers' roles are given, with an average package of 4.5 Lacs per annum. Saporji Pallonji is mainly the top company in recruitment. The lowest package is roughly 2 Lacs per annum, and the highest is 12 Lacs per annum. Mostly, anyone who wants a job can get placement by the college.

Infrastructure: Labs are top-class with certified facilities, with very nice quality instruments and machinery for practical learning. The library is also very quiet, and there are many books you can read and even take home with permission for many days. There are many canteens, all of which are vegetarian.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are well-qualified and have good experience in teaching. The course curriculum is not outdated; it's as per new requirements. Semester examination is not very difficult to pass; you only require 28 marks to pass out of 70 marks, which is easier, as per me.

A good life for a student at KJ Somaiya Polytechnic.

Placements: It's a batch of 60 students in this course, and some students join at direct second year. The highest package is about 4 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Tata, Adani, Schneider Electric, Siemens, etc., visit. The top role offered is supervisor. I don't know the exact percentage of students who got internships, but it depends on the students' performance in the exams.

Infrastructure: It's a good infrastructure, and the campus is huge. There are lots of canteens, the food is good, and the teachers are good. Wi-Fi-enabled labs . There are different sections for sports. The library is also well-maintained, and the librarians are also good. Everything is good in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also good. Yes, this course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The 1st and 2nd semesters are easy, and the 3rd to 6th semesters are difficult, depending on the students. If they study almost 2-3 hours a day at home, then there’s no problem in passing the exams.

Other: There are lots of fests inside the campus, sports every year, and exhibitions are also held.

Somaiya Polytechnic a decent college to study but great to enjoy campus .

Placements: Most of my classmates didn't apply for further placement because they had to study further, but very few applied, and they were offered for 1.2+ LPA. But they have decent placements to offer and an internship. You can get web development role and many more.

Infrastructure: There are 3 labs for computers: 2 with AC, 1 classroom without AC, and somaiya Wi-Fi was available all around college. Mess was too good with food, and for the canteen, we need to go to the management apartments. I didn't stay in a hostel, but it was also good, as my friend told me.

Faculty: Teachers are decent; mostly self-study is important. The curriculum is the same as Msbte and relevant, and they will provide you with the study materials. Exams are pretty good; if you are an AVG student, you can pass easily, and only a few semesters are thought of, but you can pass.

Other: I chose the Somaiya Poly case because it is good for studies and easy for admission in the Gujrati minority quota case. The campus is really good and huge. Fest is awesome here and very enjoyable.

It is one of the best colleges in Mumbai to pursue diploma in civil engineering.

Placements: Companies visited our college for placements. The salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Afcons Infrastructure Ltd., Tata Consulting Engineers, etc. Placements in 2019 were good compared to previous years. Our college was good for placements.

Infrastructure: All the labs were available in our college for practicals. The library had course-related books. They were available at a very low cost. Grounds for volleyball and football were available for students. The food served in the canteen and mess was good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They guide every student about the course. The curriculum of the course is relevant. It helps students to learn and grow. Exams taken in college are relevant for the students to learn and understand the concepts.

Other: It is one of the best colleges for events, campus surroundings, and extracurricular activities in Mumbai.

Placements: Students who score 60% of marks are eligible for placements. The highest salary package offered was 3.8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 1.5 LPA to 1.8 LPA. Many companies visit our college like Godrej, RMC, Voltas, and Mahindra Motors. The top recruiting company for mechanical is RMC. Internships are also offered in top companies.

Infrastructure: I would rate 5 stars for facilities and infrastructure because it is good. Our classrooms are well-maintained. It also provides a library. Our campus is huge.

Faculty: All teachers are experienced, well-qualified, and helpful. Our college is autonomous so the syllabus is set by the institute and all chapters are approached skilled based. Foreign languages like Chinese and German are also available in our college. Semester exams are difficult.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in vehicles and eclectic plants. We celebrate one week fest each year. We enjoy film, web series, and TV series shootings on campus, and we also meet celebrities. Workshops are also conducted in our college.

Placements: Our college k. j. Somaiya Polytechnic has excellent kinds of placements. In our electrical branch, 5 students get placement. The highest rank is 98%. There is 60 student in our batch. The college provides placement in a high-class company and also for internships the staff helps us.

Infrastructure: I give it a 5 star because of the labs and library it's one of the best in our college. Everyone can learn a lot of things in labs. The hostel is also good. The food of the hostel tastes good not like the other hostels. Medical facilities are the best.

Faculty: The faculty of our course is very much helpful. The teaching quality is also very good. They make us ready for industries. The exam is not that difficult if you do a regular study. Our faculty is very supportive of everything, we can freely clear our doubts.
