Candidate who have obtained graduation/post-graduation through the open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible. |

Q: What is the difference between the syllabus of Andhra Pradesh LAWCET and the syllabus of CLAT?

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.

Satisfied but improvements are needed. Academics are really good.
Placements: Actually the placements are mostly based on your post-college skills. 45 percent of the students in my batch got already placed during their internship programs. There are no campus placements in college. Most of the students do their internships at Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, Advocates’ offices, law firms, companies, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a library having a peaceful atmosphere and an e-library is also available in the campus. The hostel’s condition is poor. It would be better to take a paying guest or an apartment for your stay. Medical facilities are available all the time. The canteen is poor in condition but the college is surrounded with some shops.
Faculty: The teachers help the student resulting in good academics. Highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty members are holding the department. That's why the academic level is high in comparison to the other colleges. The passing percentage for the exams is minimum 50%. 98% students pass in a batch.
Other: I wish to improve the politics in the campus. As the course is related to law, it is important to have knowledge of politics. But the campus doesn't promote political activities. And the scholarships scheme is poor in the college.

The college is really good and there are a lot of campuses and it's awesome.
Placements: In this college, the courses are in law and there is no placement in the college. The college is not providing any placement because in law the students have to undergo thorough practice under an advocate to come up in this field. The students have to do 5 internships in the period of the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provides a lot of classrooms. There are toilets on each floor and provide drinking water on each floor. The college has 3 floors. There is a separate common room for boys and girls. Now there is no canteen but the work is going on. There is a huge library on the campus and a lot of space to move around.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very friendly and they are very helpful. They provide all the assistance for the exam and they will provide all the opportunity to perform works in a very useful manner. The pass mark needed for the course is 50 marks, which includes both internal and external, the external is 75 marks.
Other: The course is of a profession and in this field, we can live in the court. In the college, there are many programs like arts, sports, law fest, etc.

It is the second option after government law colleges.
Placements: Since the course is law, there weren't a lot of placements. Instead, people chose to start up independent practices. But a lot of alumni were able to practice as juniors to some great advocates. A small number of the graduates also decided to practice in the high court. So overall, it is not bad. Internships are relatively easy to get. The college helps in finding some internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is absolutely great. In my experience, it's one of the better private law colleges. The library is not very extensive but still enough. The classrooms and labs are average nothing stand out. The hostel is a more contrasting case with the women's hostel being pretty good but the boys' hostel being a lost cause. The hostel mess is okay. Sports, games, and activities in the college are present although nothing notable.
Faculty: This is one of the better things about the college. The teaching staff members are very friendly and always help the students. They have gone out of their way to help the students several times. As for the course curriculum, it is certainly relevant in today's socio economic climate. The exams are not so difficult. If you have an affinity for the course then it certainly doesn't feel hard. The pass percentage of my batch is high.
Other: It is a very average college. If you don't get into a government law college then I suppose this isn't such a bad option. Compared to the other private law colleges where the students are treated like they're still in school and aren't prepared for the real world. This college stands out in that regard.

Our college provides great teachers and good campus.
Placements: Placements are good. Our placement cell is working hard to place students in great companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Campus is clean and gives a good vibe. There is a mock court, library, bus facility, hostel facility, etc. available.
Faculty: Exams are not much difficult but are pretty well. Teachers also teach us in detail. Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their way of teaching is excellent.

It is a college with ordinary facilities, nothing more.
Placements: Our college has placement offers to the high court. Students normally get placed in private firms. It depends upon the placement opportunities of the college. As BBA, that is Bachelor's in law, is also there, so we can get into banking fields, IT (Wipro, Accenture, E and Y) almost every year, placements used to happen.
Infrastructure: Our college has almost good cleanliness. It is well maintained with a garden in the friend. We have a student-friendly atmosphere that has been surrounded. Computer lab facilities are also provided. Our college has a good collection of library books which are also available to the students. There are sports facilities and a playground for playing sports like football.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. But teachers keep on changing. The staff are ready to help the students at any time. There are additional and extra classes that are also taken by the teachers and staff. We have qualified teachers who are taking the classes in a well-maintained way.

Review of KMCT Law College.
Placements: No campus placements were provided, because it was a government college. The college as a career and counseling cell that help students with placements opportunity. A large number of students was placed through helping the career and counseling facility. There was a wide and good opportunity provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. The campus and atmosphere were good of this college. Classroom was very neat and clean. The atmosphere was a very attractive lot of trees include. The hostel facility was good. Normal fees and high-quality food were provided. The sports and arts program was good, and it was competitive.
Faculty: Our college teachers were well qualified, and they were full of government staff. Teachers were very helpful throughout the study, and teachers also provide good notes and study material. The semester exam was difficult, but teachers help to improve student's skills and knowledge.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my passion in it.
