Lakshya offers the CA foundation course for Rs. 23,000, which seems a bit premium, so think wisely.

Placements: Actually, I was studying for the Chartered Accountancy Foundation course. Currently, we didn't get any placements after completing the foundation. Placements are all available at the final level, which is after completing the intermediate, articleship, and final level. The foundation was a 6-month course.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure was maintained in our college. To my knowledge, Lakshya Thrissur did not offer any hostel facilities. There was Wi-Fi on our campus, which we could use only for educational purposes, and that was helpful. There was no mess or canteen on our campus.

Faculty: Teachers were good and elegant, and we were provided with a strong educational background by faculty members. It was good, as we had a digital platform to study, and PPTs were provided, which helped in our studies. The course curriculum was relevant, made sense, and offered value for money.

Indian Institute of Commerce Lakshya: Gateway to being a commerce professional.

Placements: In my chartered accountancy course, all the intermediate qualified students will be placed in CA firms across the country. The faculty and institute provide guidance and have good contacts with CAs, helping to get articleships in good firms. Rank holders are given the privilege to work in big 4 accounting firms with a stipend of 20-25K INR.

Infrastructure: There is really good infrastructure throughout the campus with centralized air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, a good canteen, and smart benches to charge phones directly. There is also a clean atmosphere. The campus opens early so that students can access the library and study there.

Faculty: The faculty are top-notch, most of them being the best in the state for their respective subjects or rank holders in the CA course. They know how to make the classes productive and efficient without exhausting the students and break down the topics in a comprehensive way so that the weight of the syllabus is not felt.

Other: I chose this course because of the earning capacity, the knowledge it provides, and the value that a CA has in society. I desired all of these and felt personally that the course is the pinnacle of the finance sector, so I decided to pursue it. Even though it is a tough journey, the campus life makes us feel relaxed with celebrations, events, and motivational classes.

Life at Lakshya for the students confused between ads and reality.

Placements: In fact, CA is not a usual degree. Once we complete CA inter, we should go for articleship, so for choosing a firm or industry for this, we get help from the institute. The thing is there is no direct placement like colleges here. If we perform well in interviews, we can get into big four firms like KPMG and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are top quality. To be frank, they provide a good study environment, and there is even an option to study from institutes after lectures. Talking about the hostel, they provide hostels, but I don't think it's much worth the fee we are paying; it's better to choose to stay outside.

Faculty: Teachers are top at Lakshya. Most of our faculty members are qualified chartered accountants, including senior practicing chartered accountants. Talking about the relevancy of the curriculum, there's not much we need to bother because ICAI is making the curriculum better so we are ready to serve our nation as industry planners.

Other: I chose this course because it is my passion. Lakshya conducts most of the programs in a very well manner and is very initiative in such things.
