Good experience in the college and good life in the college with excellent teaching staff.

Placements: The students were placed at only 5% due to the pandemic situation. The overall recruitment was not that easy, but still, the talented students got the jobs. The highest package was Rs. 8 LPA. The lowest package was Rs 3.5 LPA. B.Com is like a multi-player which has many sector-field branches.

Infrastructure: Digital teaching facilities and Wi-Fi are connected throughout the campus. All the tasks and sports activities were completed by all the students, including me. We also played all Indian university sports in our college.

Faculty: The teachers at the college are good and very knowledgeable. The average percentage is 60%. The teachers have good experience and tell students about future jobs. So, over all, college is good and worthwhile.

Overall review of Lingaraj College (BA)

Placements: Since it was a Bachelor's course in Arts, there were no placements at Lingaraj College at that time. I hoped this would improve in the future. There was one internship opportunity for psychology students in the psychiatry ward of KLE Hospital.

Infrastructure: There were many facilities available in the college, including Wi-Fi, a large library with many books, an IT lab, and a language lab. Every classroom was equipped with a projector. Lingaraj had one of the best hostels, with proper facilities such as 24/7 hot water, a mini gym outdoors, and a TV hall. The mess provided clean, tasty, and hygienic food with a variety of menu options.

Faculty: It had good teaching staff with experienced teachers as well as new teachers who were supportive and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant for psychology and covered all the necessary topics for the field, except that there was no syllabus related to the research part in psychology. The exams were easy to pass with proper study, and the passing marks were 25 out of 60 in the final semester examination.

Other: I chose this college because I had studied my PUC here, and it was one of the good colleges in Belgaum for a degree. I hoped they would appoint more lecturers for the psychology department. Many activities and fests were conducted there, making it the most happening campus. There was also a lot of scope for sports and co-curricular activities.
