Admission to B.E./B.Tech (UG) requires passing the 10+2 of education including the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) with at least 50% marks (and 45% marks for BC, 40% for other reserved categories) and registration and participation in the TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University after following the online application process in LJCET site. (Applications to Post-graduate courses of M.E./M.Tech, MBA, MCA, eligibility is graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% and valid entrance test marks (TANCET or CEETA PG) and through online counselling after document verification). Candidates wishing to be eligible must also ensure that they comply with the domicile requirements of having studied grades VIII-XII in Tamil Nadu or the provision that their children are awarded special social status ( only for children of the central government/PSE employees working in Tamil Nadu).
