Provisionally selected candidates must pay the prescribed fees through credit card, debit card, Net banking, or cash at any branch of Axis Bank. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST category are exempt from the application fee.

The Loyola College application portal for admission to the BA course 2024-25 was closed on May 17, 2024. As per the official website, the application form was open from May 3, 2024 onwards. After the conclusion of the complete admission process, the college releases the course commencement date for both the UG and PG courses. However, for the academic session 2023-24, the course commencement date for the UG courses was June 28 and for PG courses the date was July 5. Therefore, the exact commencement date will be out soon.

In addition, the college offers five BCom (Hons), BCom (Accounting & Finance), BCom (Corporate Secretaryship), and BCom (Computer Applications) courses. The Department of Commerce offers two shifts for the instruction of these courses. A Class 12 Diploma in Commerce/Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics/Computer Science, Mathematics/Business Mathematics, Statistics, or any other subject is required for admission to Loyola College Chennai's BCom program. Merit-based admissions are used for the BCom programme at Loyola College. According to the Loyola College fee schedule, shift-1, which falls under the assisted category, and shift-2, which falls under the self-financed category, have different pricing ranges.

As per the admission guidelines of Loyola College, BA programme admission is merit-based. Candidates must have twelve years of school education from a recognised board. Candidates qualifying the eligibility criteria are then required to fill the online application form. Once the form is submitted, the college will conduct a screening process for shortlisting candiates. Then a list of eligible candidates for admission process will be released in the website. Therefore, Loyola College doesn't accept any entrance exam for admission to BA course.
