Good but needs more improvement, like other colleges, like more extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements are okay but not as effective as they advertise. It is fine but only some departments get such offers so it is not as productive as they show outside. They do not treat everyone equally as I got this information from my seniors.

Infrastructure: The hostel is clean and well maintained with good hygiene and a pleasant environment. Rooms and surroundings are clean. The quality of food is disappointing as it lacks taste and variety of items. This area needs improvement.

Faculty: Faculty members are okay but not very effective. The college has experienced and supportive faculty who are always ready to guide students academically and personally. The curriculum is well structured focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It helps students build strong career-oriented skills.

Overall, it is the best college for MBA.

Placements: Our placement cell is really helpful and active. Our placement rate is 90%. Every qualified student is assigned to a reputable company. Top hiring firms for my course include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Mindtree. 40 LPA is the largest wage package offered, 3.5 LPA is the lowest, and 4.5 LPA is the average. Many students secure internships at prestigious firms like Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are excellent. There is always high-speed Wi-Fi available on campus and in every classroom. Every lab, library, and classroom has contemporary amenities. Professors use projectors to instruct us. Although the canteen offers a wide range of meals, the quality of the food is good. Additional medical amenities are provided. This organization offers a range of sports.

Faculty: The instructors are competent and well-informed. They constantly guide us in the proper direction and are highly student-friendly. They employ clever teaching strategies. The course emphasizes understanding a pupil's core because a solid core allows a student to pick up additional skills with ease. Their main goal is to prepare us for the industry. Exams for the semester are not that tough if you study properly. The pass rate is 70%.

See the truth yourself before admitting your child to a college.

Placements: I am currently a B.Tech AIDS student from the 2023-2027 batch. Placement scenario is not very promising. Hardly 30-40% of students from my course were placed in the last placement season. The highest package is around 5 LPA, the lowest is 1.8 LPA, and the average is 2.5 LPA. Many of the offers are for non-core roles like BPO and support jobs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the computer science department is very disappointing. Labs are outdated, with limited working systems. There is poor access to updated tools or real-time project environment. Wi-Fi is unreliable and often restricted. Classrooms are basic, and library lacks current CS reference books.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are not specialized in core CS areas like AI, ML, or data science. A few are helpful, but many rely on outdated teaching methods (mostly PPTs). There is minimal focus on hands-on learning or real-world industry applications.

Overall, the best college for the MCA course.

Placements: During my study period, about 77% of students were assigned to their family companies. The highest package offered was 25 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. Accenture, Tech Mahindra, and NVIDIA were among the leading recruiters. The top positions offered in the course included software engineer, software developer, and similar roles. Approximately 75% of students receive internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college’s infrastructure was subpar, although improvements were being considered. Wi-Fi facility had a capacity of 35 Mbps. Libraries lacked a suitable collection of books. The mess facilities of Ramanujan Boys Hostel were adequate, but the meals served were unhygienic. There was a clinic on campus, but, most of medications prescribed by doctors had to be purchased elsewhere.

Faculty: Teachers were good. Some of teachers were really knowledgeable, but only a handful. The study curriculum was also acceptable. One thing was certain study schedules weren’t hectic. There was plenty of time to engage in other pursuits. Exams were not difficult at all, simply paying attention in class was enough. The pass rate was 87%.

It is just like a school, not a college.

Placements: 90% of students are placed. There is a Japanese company recruitment. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, and CTS. Their recruitment is very high in our college. Even non-willing students get their projects as a pattern in our college. The placement cell provides detailed information.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available. The MBA section has AC, and both AC and non-AC options are available. The infrastructure is good, and the library is well-equipped, but some labs do not have Wi-Fi for personal devices. Medical facilities are available. The canteen has average infrastructure but offers good quality food. Non-veg meals are served on Sundays and Wednesdays. There is also a gym for students to work out.

Faculty: MKCE has experienced and qualified faculty members, with many having industry exposure. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theory and practical learning. However, like any college, the teaching skills vary.

Other: A new cybersecurity course is added.

More reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, Accenture, TVS, Hero, and these companies visit this college's campus for interviews. Salary packages range from 3-12 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: This college's infrastructure and campus environment are excellent. More than 15 courses are available in this college. Multiple laboratories and more spacious classrooms are here in this college. A well-stocked library is also here in this college. This college's sports ground facilities are very good, and the coaching staff also work in this college. Hostel food quality is also good. Canteen facilities are also available on this college campus.

Faculty: M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering's faculty members are highly talented people. They have more than 5 years of experience in teaching. They conduct 5-8 lectures every week. Other: M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering has a larger number of courses. I am choosing mechanical engineering in this college. A larger number of mechanical laboratory facilities are available in this college. This college's management conducts many sports and cultural events every year. This college provides good transportation facilities. This college's courses and curriculum are updated. The college management celebrates many festival events like Deepavali, Pongal, Onam, Christmas, etc.
