Textile engineers are involved in textile harvesting, production and processing. They work with fibres/fabrics/textile materials to improve current textile products and bring out new ones. The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Supervisor is to supervise in the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, fitting, workmanship, quality, accessories and other factors.

Textile Engineering has good scope in India as well as abroad. Companies like Grasim, Arvind, Welspun India, Raymond, Reliance, etc. recruit students within this specific domain of engineering.
