It mostly depends on the college you are from and the caliber and capability you have. As it varies from person to person, if you have a good command on the subjects and a good knowledge of the same you can easily leave an impression on the recruiter and get a handsome package as a fresher. It could be better in placements or internship opportunities. Overall, it's fine for just learning.
Placements: As I'm currently in the 3rd year of BMS, based on what I've seen, placement opportunities are limited. Few seniors get placed, mostly through personal efforts. No big companies come, as far as I have seen over the past two years. There are internship opportunities in marketing, sales, and finance roles at small and mid-level companies. The top roles offered in BMS are sales executive, marketing intern, and entry-level management.
Infrastructure: For my course and department, the infrastructure is pretty good. The classrooms are clean, and benches were recently added. Projectors were installed. Wi-Fi is available, but it is slow and not for everyone. It is mainly for college-related work. The library is decent, with space to sit and study, but sometimes the course books are not available. There are computer labs, but they are only for IT students. There is no hostel. The canteen food is average and not very tasty. For sports and games, grounds are available. Medical facilities are provided for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are knowledgeable and very helpful. They teach and ensure students understand the topic. In short, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. But I think more practical knowledge and focus on real-world skills covers the basics but doesn't fully prepare students for challenges. Semester exams are not that difficult if you concentrate, attend the lectures, and study what teachers have guided you. It's easy to crack, as 40 is the passing mark out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in management and business-related work, including marketing. The best thing is that it gives exposure to different fields like marketing, finance, and HR. I wish more practical knowledge related to the field should be improved, apart from semester studies, along with more activities and guest lectures. The college conducts events and fests but could be more active. Students are not that interested or excited. The campus crowd is not that great because the management is sometimes not that strict in some matters. The surroundings are decent, as the college is a little inside but still good. I haven't heard, but they might be available for a few students.
