Q:   What is the eligibility to get admission in Madha Group of Academic Institutions for UG/PG courses?

Madha Group of Academic Institutions has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

BDSCandidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for theNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test'. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission (born on or before 31.12.2006) Result awaited candidates can also apply.

B.ArchCandidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
MDSCandidate must have secured 50 percentile (40 in case of SC/ST/OBC, including PWD of SC/ST/OBC & 45 in case of UR PWD candidates) in NEET- MDS 2023.
MBA/PGDMCandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
MCACandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
M.E./M.TechCandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course were placed. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 to 30,000 per month. Top recruiters for our course are TAFE, New Star, etc. The top role offered in our course is a supervisor. The salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA. About 60% of the students got internships, and companies like UCAL Fuel Systems Pvt Ltd offers internships here. We all have to make all the good things.
Infrastructure: Labs are very neat and clean, and all the equipment and machines will work. Library and classrooms are free to discuss your work and ideas. The food served in the hostel was average, but not that super good. Sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: In our department, there are 5 staff members, one assistant HOD and HOD. They are very good in their field, and they will teach what we need and more. But we should utilise them. The course curriculum surely makes students industry-ready. Staff members will help you more than what we required. Projects which we do are very innovative and get more knowledge through them.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical engineering is the basic department of engineering. I can have more value. I wish that our college should improve placements with high salaries. Our college conducts all extracurricular activities and symposium.

Think thrice before you join this college.
Placements: There will be a placement cell, but no one will be there in that cell, very worst college. They will say that you will be placed as soon as you finish the 3rd year but all are fake. There is no quality staff and labs too. Total waste college. Strikes will be happening regularly.
Infrastructure: The main block will be good, but I will remind you a proverb saying"don't judge a book by its cover". You can't concentrate on your studies in that college because regularly movie shooting will be going on. That chairman is earning through running a college and allowing to shoot movies.
Faculty: There are many courses in this college, but there is no staff to handle these subjects. The students learn by themselves through internet only. As soon as students finish the degree, they join in the same college as a professor, since they don't get the job outside.

Placements: The training and placement cell at Madha Engineering College is excellent. We have 39 recruiters including famous companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahendra, etc. Every company chooses a fair number of students. Training for skill, and perception are available for students ensuring a lot of opportunities.
Infrastructure: We have many facilities such as health care services, canteen, central library, hostel and even an ATM within the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel students have computers with internet facilities until 7 pm. There are also indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Our college has very qualified teaching staff and lab technicians. The faculty tries its level best to manifest the mission and vision of the college. Along with academics, societal values and ethical codes are also made a vital core of learning. The curriculum is comparatively hard and not so easy to grasp.

Good placements and teachers.
Placements: More than 100 companies visit for campus interview like HCL, IBM etc. The minimum salary offered is 10k and the maximum salary is 18k. For the electrical field, they hired for the roles of maintenance engineer and for software, they hired for the post of software developer and software tester.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are always cleaned by the workers. The libray has all the books available and have the latest edition. There is no Wi-Fi but we can use the internet at any time with permission. Medical facilities are available. The hostel has strict rules. room are cleaned. Sports and games facilities are average. The quality of foods is okay but the taste is not very good. The lecturers are also very good. The labs are air-conditioned. All equipments are available.
Faculty: The college has good teachers. All the topics are well-explained by them. They have a good knowledge of the subject. The college also provides scholarship. Video lectures are also provided by the lecturers. The college also arranges industrial visits every semester, which is also very helpful.
Other: I will rate my college 7 out of 10. The interaction between the students and the staff is very good. No phones are allowed in our college. You can raise complaints if you feel uncomfortable about anything.

Only worth if there is no other option left. Only with a few good things.
Placements: Only a few companies came on campus. Even then, they were mostly voice support and BPOs, hence placement programme was not up to the mark, and awareness about those placement programmes was not created enough to attract students. Highest salary was only around 10 to 15 thousand and that too voice and non voice, not that much of pure software companies.
Infrastructure: Labs were good. But the quality of food provided in the canteen was very bad and dissatisfactory. Hostel rooms were also not that good. Most of the facilities were not arranged properly to get a feel-good atmosphere around the college campus. Transport buses were bad and the bus arrangements and management was not up to the mark and hence we suffered a bit.
Faculty: A few faculty members were really helpful. The curriculum was not up to the mark and hence did not help us to learn things beyond the curriculum and hence couldn't compete that much. There prevailed a situation where a lot of effort was required from the individuals to learn more and sustain among the competitive people and the knowledge that was required at that level. The teaching methods weren't great except for a few faculty members'. The ratio of faculty to student was quite acceptable. Devices were there to demonstrate the lab instruments during lab sessions but the number of devices was quite less.

Other: I joined this college because of its proximity to the location. A few faculty members were good but most of them were lacking in subject knowledge. Laboratories and transportation facility was also provided. Facilities related to sports were good and food outlets were nice. Placements were not that good as compared to other engineering colleges in Chennai.
