Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2027
4.0
3.0Placements4.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
Good learning environment and opportunities despite the classroom infrastructure and canteen food.
Placements: 80%-90% of students from B.Com (Hons) batches reported getting placed through campus recruitment in recent years. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are SnP Global, Wipro, Splitsub, Black Elephant Digital, and BNS Analytics. This sometimes includes TCS and Deloitte, too. 70% of the students secure internships during their course and mainly in the private sector.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, but not around the campus buildings. Labs are quite decent, and sometimes computers don't work. Classrooms are of basic infrastructure and are non-AC and have school desks for students. But in the new building, which is a law block, they are good in infrastructure and have AC classrooms and corridors. The library is also very good and spacious have good stock of books, and has computers there too. Hostel facilities are good, they have boys' and girls hostel separate, with average hygiene, and the mess food is also good.
Faculty: The faculty of B.Com is so great. They are very knowledgeable and very helpful towards the students, and are always available for us. They teach and guide us so well. The curriculum is relevant for us and up to date. They make us ready for the industry, but advise us to get internships and gain experience. Semester exams are easy, they have 6 questions in the exam, each worth 10 marks. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because I have a strong interest in commerce, finance, accounting, and business studies. One of the best things is that they are career-oriented and give opportunities. I think they can be more up-to-date in the subjects, according to me. Society events are really great. The fest and campus crowd make people come here. Metro connectivity is the best thing about this college.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) (Shift II) - Batch of 2025
5.0
5.0Placements5.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
It's a top college for BCA with good placements.
Placements: About 40-50 percent of students got placed. Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, PlanetSpark, and DE Shaw visit the college. The average package offered is 3.4 LPA, and the maximum package is 24 LPA. Usually, the highest-paying companies hire only one student. Companies like SAP and Wipro also come for placements and provide integrated placements + masters.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, especially the ones made in the law and MBA block. Hostels are also fine, and there is a book bank and library as well, with all the latest books. Washrooms in the old buildings are not that good, but in the new buildings they are fine. AC is not installed in old buildings, but there are centralised ones in the new building.
Faculty: Teachers are great. They provide all notes required to study for exams. We can basically contact them any time. They are always ready to help us. Especially the second shift, BCA faculty members are very supportive. I never really had to issue a book from the library to study because the notes given by them are more than enough.
Other: College fest is not that great, as the college doesn't usually support this culture. It does not support extracurricular activities like music and dance. We will not see any music room or common rooms for such activities.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2029

It has supportive faculty and staff members.
Placements: In the year 2025, the highest package offered is 23 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Many IT companies come to recruit employees. Famous companies like Deloitte, Flipkart, etc., also hire students. Almost everyone who wants to get placed is placed, but the minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main BCA building is old and does not seem well-maintained. The lift is slow, although there are only 4 floors. Our classes are often scheduled in the law block, which is full of facilities. Desktops are not functioning well, but in classrooms, projectors are good. Always cleanliness is maintained. Wi-Fi is slow. The canteen is good and pocket-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced and know the market needs. They are too supportive and teach very efficiently. They break down hard topics into easy ones. In today's era of AI, this may be relevant for some years because industry needs are changing, but this is relevant now. Semester exams are not that difficult, so everybody can pass them with some practice.

Good faculty members, average placements. Pretty good infrastructure, not really good though.
Placements: I belong to the BCA batch of 2025-2029. The placement is generally good, I think around 90% percent students got a placement. In my course, the highest placement is around 24 LPA, and the average package is around 4-5 LPA. The lowest package is typically around 2.5-3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are fabulous for our department, except that there's no network in the classroom. The computers in the labs are bare minimum. The library is very good, and there's Wi-Fi available. There are a lot of places, so no need to worry about finding space to sit, and there are also computers in the library (around 6-7 computers).
Faculty: Teachers are fabulous, obviously some teachers are there for formality, if the students want to study, they can, and if they don't, some teachers don't mind them. If the students genuinely want to study, obviously, every teacher helps them, and every faculty member is very helpful. Mid sem exam are pretty moderate. If you've covered even 50% of the syllabus, you can easily pass.

4.2
4.0Placements4.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
Good placements are provided in this course in 2025.
Placements: Around 80-90 percent of students get placed on campus. The highest package offered this year is 23 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 1.5-2.7 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, Wipro, and DE Shaw & Co hire students. Internship depends on students, and otherwise, almost all students get internships in their second or third years in companies like Infosys and international companies. Top roles offered are data scientist, cybersecurity, full-stack developer, backend developer, data analyst, and front-end developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms are better, but in some classrooms, there is no AC. The library is good because we can get many books on ethical hacking, cybersecurity, full-stack development, front-end, back-end, and app development. The system is also good. All-time internet is available. I am not in the hostel, so I cannot tell properly. The hostel is better. There is one canteen. Medical facilities are good. It also has a ground. Students can get a chance in sports like football, NCC, etc.
Faculty: There are great teachers. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Other teachers help students in every condition, like during off-time. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It directly pushes students into industry, like tech world companies, startups, etc. Exams are neither tough nor easy. Exams are normal. The pass percentage is 40 percent. Faculty members are available for students.
Other: Placements in this course are quite good or better in this institute, so I chose it. This course introduces us to an industry, and we can get much useful information. We will also learn new things every time. The course is good. Many fests are held in the college. Surroundings are good. It conducts activities like NCC and NSS for girls only. Everything is good here.

Overall good, providing a good environment for industry-ready jobs.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed and got internships. According to the latest data from the placement cell, the highest package for BCA is 24 LPA, and the average package is about 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, SAP Labs, and Accenture. Reports come from the campus drive.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very supportive and knowledgeable. There is some strictness regarding attendance. Teachers are willing to clear doubts and also help individuals, and maintain decent teacher-student interaction. Semester exams are a little bit tough. You have to study better for this.

There is no minimum percentage or aggregate required in Graduation as per the official website. The admissions are completely entrance-based. Students can apply for the exam through official websites. After result announcements, counselling is conducted by GGSIPU for seat allocations.
