Good and pleasant infrastructure, with a 24-hour open library that is calm and spacious.
Placements: In our MBBS batch at Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences, 100% of students successfully completed their compulsory internship at the attached teaching hospital, ensuring strong clinical exposure. Post-internship, most graduates secured positions as Junior Residents or Medical Officers in reputed government and private hospitals, with some pursuing higher studies (MD/MS) through NEET PG. The highest package for fresh graduates in private hospitals is around ₹12 LPA, while government postings offered ₹6-8 LPA. Top recruiters included MIMS Teaching Hospital itself, Apollo Hospital, CARE Hospital, and government healthcare services. The most common roles offered are junior resident, medical officer, and house surgeon.
Infrastructure: Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences offers excellent infrastructure for the MBBS course, including spacious lecture halls with modern audio-visual equipment, well-equipped labs for pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects, and a central library with a vast collection of medical books and e-resources. The attached teaching hospital provides extensive clinical exposure with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities. The hostel accommodations are clean and secure, with Wi-Fi, 24/7 water, and an uninterrupted power supply. The mess serves nutritious and hygienic food, and the canteen offers quick refreshments. Medical care is available round-the-clock on campus, and sports facilities like cricket are also available.
Faculty: Faculty at MIMS are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable, ensuring that students receive both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for the medical profession. The MBBS curriculum strictly follows NMC guidelines, keeping it relevant and aligned with industry and clinical requirements. Regular clinical postings in the attached teaching hospital make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, requiring consistent preparation and practical understanding. The pass percentage is high, with most students clearing exams on the first attempt due to effective teaching and guidance.
Other: I chose the MBBS course at Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences for its strong academic reputation, excellent clinical exposure, and the presence of an attached teaching hospital. The best aspects are the experienced faculty, diverse patient inflow, and hands-on training during clinical postings. The campus is spacious and well-maintained, with good hostel facilities and a friendly student community. Annual cultural and sports fests bring vibrancy to campus life. Connectivity to a nearby town is decent, and the campus surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are available for eligible students. Improvements could include more advanced simulation labs and expanded research opportunities for undergraduates.

It's a very good college, but it has strict rules.
Placements: It is a professional medical degree college, in our batch, there are 200 students. The college management is providing us with five cadavers, and our college has disciplined rules and has anti-ragging communities and anti-drugs communities where some of the people are selected. It is a very good college to improve knowledge, and 80% to 90% students get their internships.
Infrastructure: Our college management provides good facilities and infrastructure. We have a projector and AC in the classroom. The library also has the AC and all types of books by different authors. Labs have good equipment, and the food is also very good. Medical facilities are also good, providing wheelchairs for the hostels for emergency situations. We can play sports and games. Our management conducts some programs to improve the spirit of students.
Faculty: All our professors are well-qualified, and they are very helpful and they are very knowledgeable. We follow the CBME curriculum, and the pass percentage is 50%. We have 3 internal exams in a year, and our professors prepare a good paper to improve our knowledge.
Other: From childhood, I have wanted to become a doctor. So, I chose this. The best thing is that we get a huge amount of respect from society. Our college conducts many fests, but we have fewer crowds because of the large college space.

Good faculty members with more knowledge and more greenery college.
Placements: There will be no placements or placement offers at this college. But they will provide an internship for a year with stipend to students by attending clinical postings during that year. That stipend is based on their wish as this is a private medical college.
Infrastructure: The facilities that college provides are good. The infrastructure structure is very good as students will be exposed to the clinical subjects in their 2nd year, only with theoretical and clinical knowledge, and a skills lab. Hostel and canteen are also fine. Ground is provided for those students who show interest in games.
Faculty: Faculty members here are absolutely good as they all always come forward to explain again and again. Curriculum is good as they usually conduct exams whenever a chapter is completed so it will be helpful for our semester and university exams to score good marks.
Other: There will be less fests but good nature and greenery which will make us calm.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 70% of students from our batch get placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average stands around 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture. Around 60% of students receive internships, mainly from companies like Wipro, HCL, and some startups. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, and System Engineer.
Infrastructure: The department has good facilities including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs, smart classrooms, and a decent library. The hostel infrastructure is decent too, with clean rooms and regular maintenance. Food in the mess is hygienic, though not very diverse in taste. Medical facilities and sports grounds are available and regularly used by students. The campus is clean and has good greenery.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and always open to doubts. Most of them are well-qualified with M.Tech or PhDs. The curriculum is updated and includes industry-relevant topics and projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a good pass percentage of around 85-90%. Internal assessments and assignments also help boost marks.

Good faculty, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Placements for the MBBS course are not like typical engineering or management courses. After completion, most students go for internships in the attached hospital or a government hospital, which is part of the curriculum. Internship is compulsory and well-structured, providing decent exposure to clinical practice. There aren't corporate placements or salary packages as seen in other fields. However, a few students may get opportunities in research or public health projects. Top roles offered include Junior President or House Surgeon positions during internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in hostel rooms. Labs are good enough. Classrooms are good for MBBS course. Library is very good for MBBS. Mess food is average. Canteen is good and it's ambience is best. Medical facilities are available 24/7. Sports and games are encouraged on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them are well-qualified doctors. Their teaching style is understandable, and they use a mix of theory and practical examples, especially in clinical subjects. Curriculum followed by the college is standard one prescribed for MBBS and is relevant for preparing us for real-world clinical practice. Semester exams are moderately difficult, mostly requiring consistent study. Pass percentage is decent, but students need to be regular and focused to clear all subjects.
Other: Fests are too few. No Freshers' Day for the class of 200 members in the MBBS course.

Review of My College Life
Placements: Presently, nearly 200 students are placed in our college. The placements are based on the NEET PG entrance exam, which is conducted after the completion of the course. We must pass the exam and gain admission into a PG college, after which we receive a stipend and can work in hospitals.
Infrastructure: The faculty is very nice, highly qualified, and educated. The college has a library that provides various medical books, which helps us read without having to buy them. This is especially helpful for those who can't afford books. The mess in the hostel is good, and there is a canteen for those who want to eat. Sports and games are conducted every year.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated and highly qualified. They assist us in every aspect at any time. The quality of teaching is very good, with the use of digital boards. The exams conducted each semester are moderately difficult, which helps us prepare for our final exams.
Other: I chose this course out of personal interest. The best thing about this course is that I can treat my patients on my own. One area that needs improvement is the number of patients in the hospital. Events, sports, and cultural activities are all conducted in this college.
