MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and course to participate in the counselling. MCC has revised dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling following postponement of choice filling.

NEET PG Counselling registration 2025 is held online for seat allotment. Candidates who qualified for NEET PG 2025 exam with minimum cutoff marks are eligible for counselling. Registration for round-2 NEET PG 2025 counselling will begin on December 5, 2025, as per revised dates and schedule. Seat allotment result for round-2 counselling will be declared on December 12, 2025. 

NEET PG 2025 counselling registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. It must be noted Medical Counselling Committee will hold counselling for allotment of 50% All India quota seats. For the remaining 50% seats, respective state authorities will hold counselling. NEET PG 2025 counselling comprises registration, choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. A total of four rounds of online counselling will be held for seat allocation into MD/MS and diploma courses. The number of rounds may be extended based on the vacant seats or other external factors.

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment.

Apart from registration, NEET PG counselling comprises steps such as choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. Choices have to be saved and locked in the deadline other they get locked automatically. 

Q:   Who will be eligible for NEET PG counselling rounds?

Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with minimum cutoff marks as decided by NBE will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The qualifying cut off varies as per the category. To participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. They also have to fill choice for college and course and lock them in the given deadline. Seat allotment is done based on different factors such as choice declared, availability of seats in particular college and course, NEET PG rank etc.

Q:   If I opt to participate in the second round of NEET PG counselling, will the seat allocated to me in the first round be cancelled?
A: 

If you opt to participate in the second round of NEET PG and you are allotted seat in that round, only in that case, your candidature for round-1 gets cancelled. If you will not be allotted seat in round-2, previously allotted seats in round-1 will not be cancelled. MCC conducts a total of 4 rounds of NEET PG counselling for seat allocation.

NEET PG counselling starts with online registration. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare their choices for college and course for seat allotment. Registration can be done every round. However, those registered in the first round need not register again for the forthcoming rounds.

  • Note down the login credentials

  • Login again to fill the application form

Q:   I have registered for round 1 of NEET PG counselling. Should I register again for round 2/mop up round?
A: 

No, online registration for NEET PG counselling is a one-time process. Those who have already registered once don't need to register again. Only those candidates who have not registered themselves during round 1 need to register for the round 2/mop-up round. Registration can be done in any round except last one on the official website. Mcc. Nic. In. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats.

Q:   How many seats are available through Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling?
A: 

A total of 950 state quota seats 403 management quota seats were available for which candidates compete to seek admission in MD institutes in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must note that this number is based on last year's data. This year, the number may undergo change. 

Q:   How many seats are allotted through Assam NEET PG counselling?
A: 

Last year, Assam NEET PG counselling was held for allocation of around 652 MD/MS and Diploma seats. This year, the number of seats may vary. The actual number will be known once DME Assam releass the seat matrix. Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 dates and schedule were announced in September 2025.

Q:   How to download NEET PG scorecard?
A: 

Candidates will have to download NEET PG 2025 scorecard for 50% AIQ seats from the official website. They have to provide login details to download the scorecard. Only those qualify exam by scoring the minimum cut off could download individual scorecard. The scorecard contains details such as roll number of candidate, score, All India Rank, category rank, number of correct answers and incorrect onesetc. The scorecard is needed at various stages of admission process including seat allotment.

NEET PG Counselling: Documents Required

After NEET PG seat allotment result, candidates are expected to show original documents during reporting. They have to carry all their certificates in original along with a self-attested copy at allotted institutes. Candidates also have to pay fee to secure seats. The list of documents needed for NEET PG admission is given below:

  • NEET PG admit card 

  • NEET PG result/rank letter

  • Class 10 marksheet/ birth certificate

  • Marksheets of MBBS

  • MBBS Degree Certificate

  • Internship Completion Certificate

  • Permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by MCI/ SMC

  • Valid, non-expired and authentic photo ID proof (PAN card/Driving licence/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar card)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

No, you cannot appear in regional language in NEET PG exam. According to the NEET PG pattern, the examination is conducted in the English language only. All aspirants must refer to the question papers of previous years for NEET PG 2026 preparation.

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2026 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials.
