Placements: I was part of the 2021-2023 batch of B.Ed at this college. Around 65% of students get placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. The average package is 4.8 LPA. Top roles offered are teacher, professor and other teaching staff. Overall, the college provides great placement support and learning opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained classrooms with smart boards, good Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to a library with a wide range of education-related books, journals, and teaching resources. The hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are clean and Wi-Fi is available. The environment is safe. The mess serves good food with a regular variety. The canteen is a good place for snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus. There is space to play sports like volleyball, badminton, and indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers for the B.Ed course are very helpful, highly qualified, and have strong knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of lectures, interactive sessions, and practical training like school internships. The course curriculum is relevant, and it focuses on modern teaching methods, child psychology, and classroom management, which helps in preparing students to be ready for school and educational institutions. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage for our batch is around 90-95%, as most students are well-prepared through internal assessment and practical work.

Other: I chose the B.Ed course because I have a strong passion for teaching and wanted to build a professional career in education. The best part of the course is that it focuses on practical training, school internships, and developing real classroom skills. One thing that could be improved is giving even more exposure to new digital teaching tools and updated teaching techniques. Scholarship facilities are available for deserving students. There are plenty of extracurricular activities like debates, sports meets, and workshops to keep students engaged beyond academics.
