Perks and cons of a diploma at Mahaveer Institute of Technology.
Placements: There are about 120 students who were placed in my course. The highest average package was offered at around INR 8.5 Lacs and above, and the lowest was about INR 2.5 Lacs. Placements in corporates like Tech Mahindra, Google, Oracle, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, etc. are offered here.
Infrastructure: The building of my college is quite big. The infrastructure is modern and large. My college also has students with bachelor's degrees in various engineering groups; the campus is huge. This is one canteen that has the best snacks. There is one huge playground where we play football and cricket. Overall, it has a nice infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and well-qualified. They teach us the concepts by illustrating them in practical life. The courses here are above average when compared to other polytechnic colleges. Some of the faculty members need much improvement, as they do not teach at all. Overall, above average quality of education is there.
Other: Every year, we have freshers party at the beginning and a farewell for the seniors. I loved the environment of college in those days. It is too much fun.

Dissatisfied with college because of no placements & faculty.
Placements: No placements in the college campus. In my batch (2018-21) 3rd year one company is visited to the college by the students pressure to hod & they conducted skills test rounds & selected only 4 students from ECE out of 225 students. The highest package offered by that company is 2 LPA & the medium package offered by that company is 1.6 LPA & the lowest package offered is 1.2 LPA. No internships is offered we have to search for it if we need.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college, no Library facility is available for Diploma students, no proper equipments in the lab, infrastructure of the college is with clean & Greenary. In some classrooms projectors is available for visualize explaination, quality of food in canteen is hygienic & affordable, limited sports, no medical facilities etc.
Faculty: Most of teachers are less qualified & not more knowledgeable they are mostly attached to text books, their main aim is to complete the syllabus rather than knowing that the student can catching/understanding, they force students to solve their own problems if arises in subject, semester exams are conducted strictly. Pass percentage is 48?

Dissatisfied with the college as there are no placements.
Placements: There are no placements in our college. No company visits here. In our Diploma final year, only one company visited our college and selected 3-4 students from our branch. The highest package offered by that company is 1.9 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.2 LPA. No internships are offered. We have to try for it if we need it.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi facility or library for Diploma students. The college infrastructure and classrooms are good and clean. Computer labs are somewhat better than core labs, and the equipment is of old version. The quality of food in the canteen is affordable and good. Limited sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are not highly qualified or experienced. Their main aim is to complete the syllabus, and they mostly teach from textbooks. They do not share ideas or explain topics. Only a few faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They share different concepts, ideas and support for our growth.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty members, and there are no placements.
Placements: There are no placements in the college in our batch. One company visited our batch in 2021 for the placement drive on campus. Out of 214 students in the ECE branch, 3-4 students got selected. The highest salary package offered was 1.9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.4 LPA. No internships are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered in the college are not so good. There are no latest equipment in the lab. In core labs, there is no proper equipment. Due to the unavailability of proper equipment, we did not get opportunities for the experiments. We don't have Wi-Fi facility on campus, and the quality of food served in the canteen is good and affordable. There are only limited sports available.
Faculty: Teachers are not highly qualified in our college. Most of the teachers are attached to textbooks rather than sharing the knowledge and explanation of the concepts. Their aim is to complete the syllabus. They don't care whether the students understand or not. Most of the teachers are M.Tech qualified. There are only very few faculty members who are highly graduated. They would help students in career growth and self-development.

I am not satisfied because of its faculty members and facilities.
Placements: There were no placements in this college. In third year, only one company had visited this college for the placements drive and selected 3 students out of 210 students in our course. The highest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good with greenery, and the facilities were not good as students expect at earlier joining. Computer laboratories were good than the core laboratories, components were not good, and repairing conditions in the core laboratories like RPS, function generators, etc.
Faculty: There were very few good faculty members in this college, they try to convey the matter in a theoretical and practical manner which was useful for students' better understanding. Most of the faculty members were textbook attachable, they aim to just complete the syllabus. Semester exams were conducted strictly in this college.

I am dissatisfied with college studies except for infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placements in our college, especially for diplomas. In our batch, only one company visited the college & selected 7 students from overall branches from ECE 3 & EEE 1 & CSE 3. The highest salary package offered by them is 1.5 LPA & the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good & clean with pleasant silence & the facilities are good. Core labs are not good as computer labs in core labs. EDC lab has no updated equipment ammeters, voltmeters, and RPS will not work effectively. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good, but the food served is not so as good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are from the local area. They are holding M.Tech. All the faculty members present are highly professional & skillful. Faculty members are very less in the college and their main aim is to complete the syllabus rather than to make students understand & explain the concepts. Semesters are conducted a bit strictly and the pass percentage is 40%-70%.

Review of Mahaveer Institute Of Science and Technology.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed. The average salary pacakge offered was 3 LPA, and most of the companies were visited like TCS, HCL, and other companies to get internships. The students needed 65% per semester, and it offers embedded systems robotics and software.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good. It provides a laboratory facility, library, canteen, auditorium, etc. It also provides a hostel which was for both girls and boys, and the hostel was good. The food served was also good, and it also provides 4 shared, 6 shared rooms, and a 24X7 power supply was there at the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers were very talented, they explain everything that students need. They motivate students for our future goals, and the teaching was good. The curriculum was relevant, and it will be possible in the future. The exams were conducted in a good manner, each of the classes had CCTV surveillance. The pass percentage was 60 to 70%.
Other: I opted for this diploma course, because I got ranked in polycet entrance test. Freshers, annual day, and traditional day events were conducted in this college.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: In our college, placements were very low. Roughly 2 companies will arrive for placements drive and select maximum 4-5 students per branch. The small software companies will come for a drive. The highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities in this college were good. The infrastructure was very clean with greenery all over the college. The Wi-Fi facility was available for students in the laboratories, the projector was also used sometimes for an explanation. The quality of food was good and hygienic in this college canteen.
Faculty: Teachers were not student supportive and helpful, roughly some faculty members were good and knowledgeable. They try to improve and enhance students' skills were best. Most of them will attach to text books, and they explain what was in the text book. The semester was conducted, and it was strict. The pass percentage was 50-55%.
