Yes, Manipal Institute of communication is a good option to pursue M.A. There are two specialities available in this course:-MA in media and communication. MA in film art and film making. Both these specialities have a good scope in future and students can make a good career in those field. The salary package offered in this course is also good. The median salary which was offered for this course was 7LPA. So choosing MA from this Institute will not be a bad idea for any students, seeing all other factors like faculty, infrastructure etc.

The minimum cutoff for MA at Manipal Institute of communication is not mentioned by the Institute. The cutoff will be released after the entrance exam will be conducted. The cutoff varies every year. The Institute will release the cutoff based on the number of seats intake and applications. So if the seat intake is less, the students will need a good or favorable score in the entrance exam and if the seat intake is high, then a decent score will also be okay in order to get the admission. Although the seat intake for 2024 admissions is still not mentioned by the Institute.

Many good companies like Times group, India Today, CNN, Amazon, BBC were the top recruiters for the placement drive at Manipal Institute of communication. Many other good companies other than those stated above were also included. The placement packages offered by these companies were also good. 13 LPA was the highest package which was offerd to the students. The average package of UG and PG courses were 3.5LPA and 7LPA respectively. A good ratio of students got placed with almost 80 percent of students getting placement. So overall the placement of this Institute is good. The final admission choice should be made by not only seeing the placement but other factors like faculty, infrastructure, internships also.

No, you cannot join Manipal Institute of Communication directly. You have to qualify for the MET (Manipal entrance test) . The Institute conducts this test for certain PG and UG courses. You need to have a valid score in the entrance test to take admission. CUET score is also accepted for many UG courses for this Institute. The Institute will release the cut-off according to the number of seats available and applications. So direct admission is not possible for any course in this Institute.

So if any student wants to know about the seat intake, he /she can contact to the admission department of the Institute. Also information related to admission is also uploaded on the official website, so students can check the website regarding the same. Till now no information is released by the Institute regarding the seat intake for 2024 admissions.

Candidates can check the cutoff for Manipal Institute of communication on the Institute's official website. There is an admission section on the website, where information related to admissions, seat intake, cutoff etc. is uploaded. When the Institute will organize the entrance test (MET), after that they will release the cutoff based on the seat intake for each department and number of applications. Once the cutoff will be released, it will be uploaded for the students to check. No other source or website should be trusted or relied upon other than the official one.
