Stricter than regular government colleges since it has autonomous status, but academics are strong.
Placements: You know how placements are now for non-NITs, IITs, or BITS. The same applies here, but you'll find opportunities since there are active clubs. Many civil students take up IT roles; few stay in core jobs, but faculty were saying civil has better placements. It really depends on how you utilize the facilities.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs and good facilities. Many sports grounds are available, and the campus is over 65 acres. The hostel is like a dormitory with a common bathroom. The library is also good, but first-year students don't get college hostels, so it’s going to be a little rough in the first year. You guys shouldn't go to Saniya's hostel for girls.
Faculty: Most teachers, many of whom studied there and did higher studies in NITs and IITs, came back to teach. They know what they're doing; they actually teach you, unlike regular government colleges. Also, unlike KTU colleges, you'll get a better curriculum and exams.
Other: The reason I chose this college and course is that I was an AJEE repeater, and going to some tier 3 private college wasn't worth it. The fees here are very affordable.

A sweet, wonderful experience.
Placements: The highest package offered is around ₹33.34 LPA. The average package ranges from ₹4 LPA to ₹6 LPA, with some students receiving up to ₹8-15 LPA. Around 75% to 80% of students get placed, with some departments having a higher placement rate than others.
Infrastructure: They typically provide shared or single rooms with basic furnishings like beds, desks, and chairs. Hostels usually have shared bathrooms with showers, toilets, and sinks. Many hostels offer meal plans or have a cafeteria on-site. For recreation, hostels may have common areas with TVs, game rooms, or outdoor spaces for relaxation and socialization. For security, they often have measures like CCTV cameras, locked doors, and on-site staff. Some hostels also provide laundry facilities or services. Many hostels offer Wi-Fi or internet access in common areas. Hostels may also have designated study areas.
Faculty: The college has a faculty of around 300 members, with many holding PhDs or having significant industry experience. The faculty is known for being supportive and approachable. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in the chosen field, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning.

A review by an average student.
Placements: The placement cell is active enough, and a lot of students are placed recently from college. Mechanical engineering and computer science engineering students are placed the most. Companies including TCS, Tata Motors, L&T, etc., are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, but a firewall is installed. We cannot access most of the apps and websites, and the speed is also very low. A Wi-Fi fee of 1000 rupees is charged. Some of the buildings are very old, and some are under construction. Machines are also old.
Faculty: Mechanical engineering faculty are polite compared to other departments. The college is very strict, not good for enjoying the college vibes and freedom. It is better to choose government colleges for that. I don't like my college. It is likely to feel like studying in a private college with some exceptions.
Other: If you like to enjoy college life and freedom, choose any other government college. If you like to focus on academics, this is the best option.

A nice college with great ambience and good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college provides pretty good placements. In our department, around 50% of students get placed. The major companies arriving here are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Key Value, etc. The mechanical department and the civil department have pretty good placements nowadays.
Infrastructure: Our college has pretty good infrastructure. The hostels, especially the college hostel, are some of the most superb hostels I have ever had. The food is fantastic. The rooms are also pretty good. When it comes to food, we have non-veg food almost every day. The department labs, especially mech and civil, are very awesome.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good. Some faculty members are very rude, and they do not put effort into teaching. Some teachers are very helpful. They are like friends rather than teachers. Our college is now autonomous, so the curriculum is updated and better than the KTU syllabus.

Placement was not as good.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students were placed in our course. Some students were placed in jobs that were not relevant to our industry, like BPO jobs, also offered in the name of Business Development Associate. Top recruiting companies were Larsen & Toubro, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. The library is available. Labs are well-equipped with the required instruments and machinery. The hostel facility is also good; all essential facilities like clean washrooms and fresh drinking water are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members is frequently good. Some professors were rude. The college provides industry exposure for industry-ready jobs. Semester examinations were of a moderate level. Almost all students passed.

MACE review - better future with average fun.
Placements: Excellent on-campus training and placement. Placement drives begin at the start of the seventh semester. There are various companies with different eligibility criteria, like SOTI, Kalkitech, Keyvalue, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elxsi, and TCS. Students get placed depending on their branch. Placements are best for branches like CS, EC, MECH, and CIVIL.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is just satisfactory. The food provided is somewhat good. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are no attached toilets in any of the rooms. It is a little difficult to get admission to the college hostel.
Faculty: There is one faculty advisor for each class of 60 students. In my class, there are 60 students and another 6 who came through lateral entry. The teachers are approachable. The college provides a good learning environment. The teachers are a little strict. The teachers' approach is not that good. They react to students based on their mood, and how can teachers do this kind of thing to students? Whenever we try to ask permission for something, they refuse without even reading or listening to our request. But their style of teaching and providing notes is good. Their approach toward special classes.
