Stricter than regular government colleges since it has autonomous status, but academics are strong.

Faculty: Most teachers, many of whom studied there and did higher studies in NITs and IITs, came back to teach. They know what they're doing; they actually teach you, unlike regular government colleges. Also, unlike KTU colleges, you'll get a better curriculum and exams.

A sweet, wonderful experience.

Faculty: The college has a faculty of around 300 members, with many holding PhDs or having significant industry experience. The faculty is known for being supportive and approachable. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in the chosen field, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning.

A review by an average student.

Faculty: Mechanical engineering faculty are polite compared to other departments. The college is very strict, not good for enjoying the college vibes and freedom. It is better to choose government colleges for that. I don't like my college. It is likely to feel like studying in a private college with some exceptions.

A nice college with great ambience and good infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good. Some faculty members are very rude, and they do not put effort into teaching. Some teachers are very helpful. They are like friends rather than teachers. Our college is now autonomous, so the curriculum is updated and better than the KTU syllabus.

Placement was not as good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members is frequently good. Some professors were rude. The college provides industry exposure for industry-ready jobs. Semester examinations were of a moderate level. Almost all students passed.

MACE review - better future with average fun.

Faculty: There is one faculty advisor for each class of 60 students. In my class, there are 60 students and another 6 who came through lateral entry. The teachers are approachable. The college provides a good learning environment. The teachers are a little strict. The teachers' approach is not that good. They react to students based on their mood, and how can teachers do this kind of thing to students? Whenever we try to ask permission for something, they refuse without even reading or listening to our ...

It has decent academics, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some students found a few teachers to be inexperienced. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on theoretical and practical aspects. The course curriculum is relevant, with a mix of core and elective subjects. The course curriculum prepares students well for the industry, but some students felt that more emphasis on practical skills would be beneficial. Semester exams are moderate to challenging, with a mix of objective and subjective qu...

Review of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.

Faculty: Teachers in the my course are very helpful. All teachers have great teaching qualities. This course curriculum is not relevant. Students go for industry visits. Semester exams in my college are so difficult. The pass percentage is 60% for all students.

Quite impressed with faculty, placement opportunities, infrastructure, and campus life.

Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable. The minimum educational qualification is an M.Tech degree. Most of the teachers have a Ph.D. But since it is a college, we have the responsibility to learn by ourselves. There is no spoon feeding. The college has attained an autonomous position in the academic year of 2024. So we may expect new courses which may add value to the course. I am from a KTU batch, so I don't have much knowledge about the present college. The syllabus and semester exams are conducted ...

Totally satisfied with the life I am getting here, and the college has shaped me in so many ways.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and supportive, and their teaching techniques are very good. The course curriculum is very relevant, but the semesters are a bit short, so it is a little bit hard to manage, but it is manageable. The semester exams are mostly at a moderate level, but sometimes they are hard. The pass percentage is also good.

Review of the Student in College.

A college with a good learning atmosphere and a great place to thrive.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. Everyone is enthusiastic. The teaching quality is good. Our course follows the KTU curriculum and syllabus. Semester exams are manageable and can be tackled with proper preparation. The pass percentage of our course is 75%.

MACE in my point of view?

Faculty: Teachers of MACE are well-qualified, and most of them are IITians. But the sincerity of some teachers towards finishing their subjects is questionable. The course curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams can sometimes be difficult or sometimes it's easy. Speaking about my class, only one or two students fail to pass any papers.

Completely satisfied about the college, placements, faculty members, and activities.

Faculty: Since mechanical engineering is a core branch, it is a difficult course. But those * are passionate about machines, who can join for this course. The teachers are well-qualified from IITs and foreign universities. The faculty members are very friendly and they are very helpful for the competitions. We have 2 internal exams and 1 final university exam in a semester. Our pass percentage is 74%. The faculty members make us ready for the industry jobs.

Chapters like SAE, ASME, IEEE, NSS, and IEDC and more are very active and have won competitions.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, but they won't teach you the whole syllabus. They want you to learn most of it by yourself as the time is short for semesters. The core exams like Mechanics of Fluids and Thermodynamics are hard, but the total pass percentage is okay.
