Review of Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities were available there. There was a placement cell in the college. The placement cell in the institute was responsible for coordinating the placement activities for students. They guided students. Companies like TCS, NSE, IMRB, FMCG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. visited the campus. They offered an average package range of 2.5 LPA–4 LPA. The highest package was 25–38 LPA. It depended upon students' experience and knowledge. Companies conducted interview sessions and GD tests for the selection of students. Internship opportunities were also available for students to gain experience and get on-field knowledge.
Infrastructure: Hostels were good. Food was very good. The fees charged for the hostel and mess were affordable. Rooms were available as shared as well as single rooms for students. The rooms were awesome. The mess food was good and hygienic. The hostel had a very good environment.
Faculty: All faculty members were well-qualified and experienced. They gave us the right path. They also helped us make decisions that were helpful for our future. They were updated with current business strategies and case studies and gave us various examples to explain. The staff was also good and experienced. They also helped students with day-to-day difficulties and counselling. They had a semester system. They organised two semesters each year. Each semester was divided into internal as well as external exams. Internals were of 40 marks. Externals were of 60 marks. Attendance was important for appearing in both exams. The MBA course was really very good. I learnt a lot while doing my MBA. The course structure was very good. It was more practical than theory-based. They emphasised group activities, debates, PPTs, role plays, industrial visits, and research papers. The course had subjects that were actually job-oriented.

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2028

A good average experience for college life.
Placements: There are no current passouts for our current batch. This is B.Tech in CSE (Data Science) because the first batch is yet to pass out this year. Although our accompanying course, B. Tech in CSE (Artificial Intelligence), has plenty of placements among the passouts. The top role is AI Engineer. Most students are recruited by AI companies or startups.
Infrastructure: The college has recently built exclusive, top-of-the-line labs for our department. It has dedicated computers for research as well as computers for students to practice and do their practical work. Wi-Fi speed is excellent, and each student has free Wi-Fi access. The canteen is average and serves only pure vegetarian dishes. All classes are equipped with projectors for teachers and students to share screens.
Faculty: Teachers are well-versed in our stream. Many have Ph.D. degrees along with their achievements. Teachers encourage students to participate in hackathons and attend events. The course curriculum is fairly relevant, and students become industry-ready after the course. The exams are moderate in difficulty and are not very hard to pass. The average pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: The AI industry is booming, and the stream is very relevant at the time. This is my main deciding factor for choosing the course. The college is fairly popular for its annual techno-cultural fest. Scholarships are available to students as per KEAM and 12th PCM marks. Faculty members encourage students to join extracurricular activities and attend events. There are various clubs, including IEEE, that conduct multiple regular events throughout the year.

Amazing facilities and placements.
Placements: Currently, no one is placed in our batch. The placements are going on. Mainly software companies are coming for placements. We are electrical students, we are expecting placements from core companies this month. The average pacakge offered is 5 LPA. Students are currently applying for internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar. The department is providing top facilities in classrooms and labs. The library has all the reference textbooks for each subject. The hostels are providing good facilities for students. I heard that the food is good in the canteen. Necessary medical, sports, and game facilities are provided.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The exams are a bit difficult but everyone is trying their level best. The percentage varies every semester so its difficult to say an exact percentage.
Other: I chose this course because it has vast opportunities in the industry.

Good teaching quality, but average placements and limited campus space.
Placements: My college placement opportunities are fair. Students put in the effort to earn them. In my academic year, the most lucrative offer is 8.2 LPA. Majority of offers are in the mid-range tier. Companies like Infosys, MathCo, EY, Sutherland, Shreads, TATA, Mitsogo, and TCS are present. We are able to secure moderate internship offers. The most common positions are Developer, Support Engineer, and Data Analyst. All of which are entry-level roles where employees
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is average because the campus is relatively small. It does not have much open space. Only a few classrooms and labs receive stable Wi-Fi, while the remaining rooms have very slow speeds. Mobile signals drop inside the campus. Classrooms are clean. Smartboards and projectors work properly. Most labs are in good condition. Faculty is renovating the obsolete ones. The library is calm and well-stocked. Friends say hostel rooms are neat. The food is good, though fully vegetarian. Overall, the infrastructure is decent but with limited space.
Faculty: Teaching quality at the college is good. Faculty is supportive and easy to work with. Doubts are cleared. The assistance goes beyond the classroom. The syllabus is occasionally updated, but alignment with industry trends is not always there. Exams are strict, with proper monitoring and discipline. There are no issues worth mentioning regarding teaching or faculty behavior. Overall, faculty is helpful and supportive.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the principal, and the balance is okay.
Placements: Our college is supportive of achieving placements. It will give proper internships and all the essential information for achieving placements in any company. Almost all students interested in placements have been placed, and some of them have ignored that for higher studies. It provides proper guidance if we are willing.
Infrastructure: The food and all are average, and it is completely vegetarian. The warden is not so good at the hostel. There is Wi-Fi all over the campus. Classrooms are okay. The library is good, but staff members are so questioning, and sometimes, we feel irritated. The current principal is very bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are not so bad. Teachers are very helpful in my department. They are qualified, and they know how to teach us. Semester exams are not so difficult if we attend the class properly, and some of the staff members are not so good. The pass percentage is about 80% above.
Other: The management is not so good.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The majority of the students have been placed on campus drives with excellent packages. The college also has a placement cell which helps the students in this matter. More than 70% of the students were placed from our department in the last year, this year too the percentage is increasing.
Infrastructure: The college provides the best facilities and infrastructure for the students with sufficient labs, classrooms, library. The college also provides hostel facilities which are also quite. The college hostel provides excellent food and co-curricular activities for the students.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable, which helps the students in their academics. This course makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult as it is conducted by KTU.
