My honest review of my college.
Placements: The college has good placement and job opportunities. Mainly IT companies are coming for recruitment. More than 200 students are placed in TCS Private Limited. Other companies like Wipro, Avenger, Suntech, etc., hire students. Around 500 students got placed this year. We do internships outside our college. We went for a 20-day internship at Malabar Cement Walayar, Palakkad. It was a good experience.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not bad. However, they are not good too. Since it is a government college, hostel feels and food charges are minimal. Rooms in hostels are available only for students whose houses are far from the district. If a student's house is more distance, then there are more chances of getting admission into hostels.
Faculty: The best feature of the college is the faculty members. Everyone has a grip on every subject. Since it is a government college, getting in as a faculty happens only if we are really talented, and there are no questions about the quality of teaching. The semester-end examination has a 100-mark question pattern, and we can answer any 5 questions by choosing at least one question from each module. All questions carry equal (20) marks. Internal continuous assessment is in the form of periodical tests and assignments.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Top recruiters are MRF, BPCL TCS, Infosys, Ulte, Hinduja Motors, Federal Bank, etc. Initially, an online test, followed by group discussion, and finally personal interview is followed in most interviews there. Nearly 70% of students are placed every year. Institutions are taking good steps to bring more companies and also giving pre-placement training and training students to get placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is available at less cost with two people sharing a room. Beds are available there and also food is included. The course structure for my course was really good and focused on research in the first year we had classes and studied various subjects like M.Teach but in the 2nd year, we had only labs and projects. The allotment is based on the distance of our home from the college. The fee amount is 4000. Good toilets are available with a 24/7 water facility. A good menu of food is also available.
Faculty: The syllabus is industrial and the scope of research is there. One of the main parts of the course is year long project which has got the most credit. The lab facilities available are very good with well-knowledgeable staff. Also, good placement training is given. 30 staff in my department with an average age of 45. Most of the lectures had industrial experience. They are good at giving clarity about the subjects. In the final year projects, they do a great job by giving us proper guidance for the completion.

It's just a review from one of many.
Placements: Placements are not at all good because of the approach from many companies towards the college as it is difficult to travel and get people from here. So many companies won't reach here thereby decreasing placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: They provide good infrastructure like every college. It provides a practical session area. Better lab facilities are available. Some equipment is available, but due to lack of equipment students are unable to work on it, which makes it more difficult.
Faculty: Faculty members are joined and appointed as same as in every government college. They provide better lectures than others but there is the availability of permanent staff and as a result, temporary staff changes frequently which can cause problems.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in my course and teachers help us to make a company ready and the students get placed in MNC of India level. The percentage of a student who got an internship from my course is about 30% and the average package of students is about 9 lacs per month.
Infrastructure: The connectivity of Wi-Fi and the labs of my college is very good and the connection of Wi-Fi some time it gets it is not connected. Classrooms of my college are well furnished and the library of my college is very good and the setting area of the library is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very well but on average we can say our teacher came in a week for one time for one lecture and the teachers are well in nature. They make our company ready and the difficult level of semester exams easy to moderate and the passing percentage of students is about 98%.
Other: The budget for the fest is too good such to good but sometimes the money of the first college faculty gets corrupted.

Absolutely dissatisfied from the placement.
Placements: Top recruiting companies come to select students and also provide internships for them. The package offered is insufficient for students, with the average package being around 2 LPA. Approximately 55% of students from my course received internships, which is very low.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are all in good condition and well-ventilated. There are two air conditioners and six fans in the classroom, which is beneficial. The hostel infrastructure is decent, with clean rooms, a regular water supply, and good mess food. Sports facilities and medical rooms are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and professional. The course curriculum is updated, but it needs more industry-oriented practical exposure. Regular internal assessments also help students pass their exams, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 75 percent.
Other: Campus is not so crowded, cleaned and maintained.

A college that provides good campus life, competitive students, but comparatively fewer placements.
Placements: 60–70% of students were placed, with the highest package being between 10 and 11 LPA and the lowest package being between 5 and 6 LPA. Oracle, Air India, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 20% of students got internships. The top role offered was data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library and the labs are functioning well. Classrooms need some furnishing as well as modifications. Hostel facilities are satisfactory. Food is really good and healthy. The canteen provides good food at cheap rates. The physical education department also promotes sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching quality was not as good as expected. There are few teachers who are helpful and knowledgeable. But a majority of teachers aren't providing a good teaching method. The course curriculum is quite relevant, but it still has to improve. Semester exams are medium-level. Pass percentage is about 90–95%.
Other: This course is demanding, and since the course upskills me, I will always be happy with it. I wish to improve the extracurricular activities and mentorship. Events and fests are as good as expected.
