College with freedom but less studies.
Placements: Almost all students get placements but they get job related to hardware jobs while they studying software. There are not much famous recruiting companies and all of them provide hardware jobs. No internships are provide by the college. The students are required to find it on there own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college to compact. The college provides internet lab which can accommodate around 40 students. There are lab facilities provided for every department. The hostel rooms are neat. But the food is not too much good and also every year students get food poisoning the semister exams are not too easy.
Faculty: The staffs here is friendly and easily approachable we can talk anything we want to them the curriculum offers compulsory Internship add on courses etc. Which can develop our practice knowledge but we want to pay for every extra added facilities. Semister exams not easy.
Other: My parents are compelled me to take this course because in their mind Engineering is a value course we need to take extra course to develop our practice knowledge apart from our theoretical studies. Our college doesn't provide any kind of scholarship and extracurricular activities .

Review of Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology, Kuttakuzhi, Kanyakumari .
Placements: 90% of students were placed last year in my college. The lowest package is 1.2 lacs per annum, the average package is 2 lacs per annum, and the highest package is 5 lacs per annum. Tata consultancy services, Wipro, HCL, Mahindra and so on are the top recruiters. There are lots of internship opportunities at my college and lots of students are getting internships near Trivandrum Techno Park. Software engineer is the top role offered in my college .
Infrastructure: My college facilities are awesome and surrounded by nature and the Wi-Fi facilities are good all over the campus. The lab is good with an AC facility, the classrooms have smart classes and my department has a good library and all books related to my course. The quality of the hostel is now good, with good food and rooms; the canteen facilities are good and have foods and snacks; the medical facilities are also good in my college; in our college, students are playing in national-level matches so sports are very good.
Faculty: Our college faculty are well-known; they are Ph.D. graduates and their teaching skills are very good and easily understandable. Yes, our course curriculum is relevant and we have lots of knowledge in industrial-related areas because we are going regularly to industrial visits, and then industrial experts come to teach us at the industrial level. Semester exams are not very easy; they are tough, and the pass percentage at my college is 85%.
Other: I like the IT field, so I chose B.Tech. Information Technology, which is related to features like AIML, data science, and database management systems. My opinion is that to improve the course, it should be updated to the latest technologies because our course has a 5-year-old syllabus. Our college has a cultural event named as Festino and that is awesome. Regional fests like Christmas and Onam are also very awesome in my college and my college has lots of scholarships like SC/ST Scholarships, BC Scholarships, Minority Scholarship and First Graduate Scholarships from the Tamil Nadu Government.

I never recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our course. Our seniors got placed at Wipro. The recruiting companies are Infosys and Technopark at Trivandrum. Placements provided are good for students who are in contact with the management.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in the hostel are limited and the food is not good. There are no proper medical facilities. Sports activities are rarely supported.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful but don't permit half a day's leave. Semester exams are easy if students study well. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: Our course is hard in the first year but it is understandable in the following years.

This college is the best for education.
Placements: Placements are not that high. But for the experience it is good. The average salary package offered is between 2 LPA - 5 LPA, and I feel worth for money. The teaching levels of faculty members are understandable and responsible.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are good. It has a large library, playground, and sports are available. The condition of the hostel and college are hygienic. The hostel food is good but sometimes it is not good.
Faculty: Staffs are well qualified, knowledgeable, and curriculum as per the Anna University standards. Exams are also conducted as per standards. This course makes the students' technical and soft skill compatibles, and they give training and makes the students industry-ready.
Other: This is the best college, because the staff supports every student in every activity. They encourage the students to participate in events. This college gives a pleasant feel.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Above 90% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was about 10 LPA and it is given to a computer science engineering student. But the company is non-technical and it is not in a technical area. Internships are good and easy because college gives you proper support.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure with good facilities and equipment. Facilities regarding sports are pretty competitive, and hostels have Wi-Fi available. They all are used and well maintained too. The living spaces are clean, but the canteen food is not very hygienic, so it is better to avoid it.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is very good even slow learners get understood very well. But some of the staff is strict and rude. Faculty members are very friendly and sometimes are very strict.
