Basic Information about Marwari College, Ranchi
Placements: Approximately 60 to 70% of students got selected and placed in many private and government bodies, with the highest salary being approximately 10 to 15 LPA, and the lowest almost 4 to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies include Mahindra, Tata, and Birla. As I selected Political Science, I might become a respected political leader and complete my Ph.D. in politics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and the condition of the hostel is also well-maintained. The labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The college provides a free Wi-Fi network and a library with newspapers and important books for students. Medical facilities like first aid are also provided.
Faculty: Exams are conducted by the college administration, and the management of examinations is also done fairly. All examinations are conducted in a fair manner, and all questions are asked according to the syllabus. In case of an emergency, students can leave the exam and must return to take their exam after solving the problem.
Other: I chose Political Science to learn about Indian politics and the Constitution of India, and I want to introduce basic information about the IPC section, as well as highlight the many festivals celebrated.

Marwari College Ranchi is very good because the fees are feasible, but placements can be improved.
Placements: 60% students were placed in my course previously. Highest package was 3.5 LPA in Tech Mahindra, the lowest 1.2 LPA in Concentrix, average was 1.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were Tech Mahindra. 5% of students got an internship from our course in HDFC. A customer support executive role is offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and there are labs, library, classroom, sports room, music room, auditorium, and everything is in good condition, and the security of the college is good. You need to submit your ID card before entering rooms like sports room, which will eliminate outsiders.
Faculty: Teachers are totally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also up to the mark. Course is relevant, and it really makes the students industry-ready. Exam questions setup, 40% easy questions, 40% medium questions, 20% hard questions. Faculty is also very good and supportive, they'll not disturb you unnecessarily.
Other: I chose B.A. Economics Honours because I want to work in the finance sector. Best thing about my course is that it teaches you finance in detail. I think more placement would be great.

Value for money courses with some good placements.
Placements: In college, basically TCS and some other local companies come for a placement drive. They placed with 3 LPA to 5 LPA basically. Here in commerce and IT sectors have comparatively better placement than other courses. Lots of internships are provided to IT-sector students.
Infrastructure: Not very classy infrastructure. Overall for IT departments, colleges have digital classrooms. Computer labs have very large capacity with over 100 students at a time. Washrooms are available but not very hygienic. Drinking water is available properly.
Faculty: There are plenty of faculty members in college. But the way they teach is not much efficient. Classes are also not regular after 1st year. Proper labs for all physical experiences for each subject physics, chemistry, botany, and maths with full equipment in them.

Review of Marwari College, Ranchi.
Placements: I feel like the placement of the college is good. I don't know much about this because I am just in semester 3 right now I don't have much information regarding this. But I think that this college is good. The placement process is also good. Overall, the college is amazing.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is amazing. I feel like it, I don't know about others. But MB College looks good and has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are also available, they are very useful for us. Mess and canteens are very hygienic and offer great taste. Sports and games are also good.
Faculty: My teachers are very helpful although I don't go to college in Delhi. But they are very qualified and very knowledgeable. They have great knowledge regarding the course. I am studying commerce, and they have deep knowledge about business and accounting. Everything regarding the subject semester exams at this college is good. It's kind of tough but if you study well, you can score good marks on the exam. The pass percentage is 35% to 40%.

Strong academics, supportive faculty, and great campus life at Marwari College.
Placements: I am a proud student of Marwari College, Ranchi, currently enrolled in the B.Sc. in Information Technology programme for the 2024-2027 batch. From the very first semester, I have experienced a strong blend of academic learning, practical exposure, and career-oriented guidance. When it comes to placements, our course has an impressive track record. Around 60% or more of students secure placements directly through campus recruitment drives. For our seniors, the highest package offered is around ₹7 LPA, the lowest is ₹2.5 LPA, and the average generally lies between ₹3-5 LPA, which is a great start for fresh graduates in this field.
Infrastructure: As a student of B.Sc. in IT in the 2024-2027 batch at Marwari College, Ranchi, I can say that our department offers an excellent learning environment with well-maintained infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with projectors and smart boards, making lectures more interactive. The department has modern computer labs with high-speed internet and updated software for programming and networking. Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over the campus areas. Medical facilities are readily available, with a health center on campus to handle basic checkups and emergencies. For sports enthusiasts, the college has well-maintained playgrounds and courts for badminton and indoor games.
Faculty: Faculty in the B.Sc. IT department at Marwari College, Ranchi, are highly qualified, approachable, and genuinely invested in students' success. Many of our teachers hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees in their respective fields, along with years of teaching experience. They not only explain concepts but also provide extra guidance after lectures whenever students need help. The course curriculum is well-designed and regularly updated to match industry needs. It covers programming languages, database management, networking, web development, and emerging technologies like cloud computing and cybersecurity. As for semester exams, they are moderately challenging.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in IT and problem-solving. I wanted a program that would give me a solid foundation in IT along with practical exposure, and Marwari College has a good reputation in this field. The best things about this course are the combination of theory and practical work, the supportive faculty, and the availability of updated computer labs with all the necessary software. If I could suggest improvements, I'd like to see even more industry tie-ups and guest lectures from professionals, as well as more advanced lab equipment for certain specialized topics.

Affordable courses with decent infrastructure and moderate placement at Madhavi College, Ranchi.
Placements: I completed my BSCIT in 2025 from Madawari College, Ranchi. Around 50% to 60% of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, while the average is about 2.5 LPA, and the lowest is about 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, TCS, HCL, and some local startups, around 30%-50%.
Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure for the BCA department. There are well-equipped computer labs and Wi-fi projectors in the classroom and a good central library with digital access. The campus is clean and moderately maintained. There is no dedicated PGS or A-level available. The canteen food is average with limited options but hygienic. There is a medical facility on campus. Price and decent focus on sports with a large, rounded, and occasional inter-college events. However, the Wi-Fi network sometimes becomes unstable. The lab piece needs to be maintained more frequently.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified M.Tech or PhDs and have good command over their subject. They are helpful and available for doubts, but the teaching style is more theoretical than practical. The curriculum is relevant but needs updating. The current industry standards, like cloud computing, IML, etc. Semester exams are not very tough, and the pass percentage is around 85% to 90%. Internal assessment, assessment, and attendance play an important role in the final grading.
Other: The total fee of BCA and B.Sc. scores like ISIS Rs. 2,70,000 to Rs. 90,000 for the entire three-year program, including admission and exam fee. Considering the fee structure and the government officiation, it is affordable and worth it for middle-class families. You get a recognised degree at a reasonable cost, which is great for a student who wants to pursue further studies or a government exam. The student crowd is diverse with a mix of Ranchi locals and students from nearby districts. Campus life is active during fest like tech fest in the world and sports week, not only at Metro City colleges. The connectivity is good as Campus is located in Bahri Talab Hindpiri. There is less focus on extracurricular activities like coding clubs or entrepreneurship, which should be improved.
