Absolutely dissatisfied only because of placement and not the NIRF ranking.
Placements: Only those who are good at studies got placed. Placements at Marwari College are average for B.Com students. Limited companies visit the campus, but students do get opportunities through off-campus placements and internships. The average package ranges from 2 LPA to 3 LPA, depending on skills and performance. Many students prefer to pursue higher studies or professional courses after graduation. The college provides basic guidance for career options and skill development, so it depends on you, too, how you study, and at the same time, the college also does.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Marwari College, Ranchi, is average but suitable for B.Com students. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, providing a comfortable learning environment. The library has a sufficient number of commerce-related books, journals, and newspapers, which are helpful for semester exams. Computer facilities are basic but usable. Hostel facilities are available for students, and rooms are clean with basic amenities. Overall, the infrastructure supports regular academic activities, though some modernization can improve facilities further.
Faculty: The faculty members of the B.Com department are qualified, supportive, and helpful in nature. Teachers explain concepts clearly, especially accounts and business-related subjects. They are approachable and help students with doubts and exam preparation. The curriculum follows the university syllabus and is relevant for students who want to pursue higher studies like M.Com or professional courses. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend classes regularly can pass comfortably. As we all know, if we don't study, then it becomes more difficult to pass.
Other: I chose this course because the course I wanted is similar to B.Com, so I can get two degrees at the same time. Placement rate and dress code are there. Events happen at the main Marwari, not at the women's and fresher's events, and farewell should also be organised.

Average academics and placements, good for the degree, but requires more practical exposure.
Placements: Around 10-20 percent of students from B.Com got placed. The highest package is approximately 5 LPA, the lowest package is approximately 2.5 LPA, and the average package is around 2 LPA-3 LPA. TCS, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Airtel recruit in our college. Around 5-10 percent of students got internships, mostly in TCS, Concentrix, and local firms. Business Development Associate, Customer Support Executive, Sales Executive, and Banking Support roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the B.Com department are average. Classrooms are decent and a few have a smart-class setup. Wi-Fi is available on campus but the connectivity is not always reliable. There is no dedicated lab for the commerce department but the library is large and well-equipped with a good collection of books. Regarding hostel facilities, the rooms are basic and maintenance is a bit slow. The mess food is average. Sometimes good but the variety is limited.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable and they are generally helpful whenever students reach out to them. The teaching style is mostly theory-based and traditional. The teaching quality is decent but not very interactive or industry-oriented. The curriculum covers the required commerce subjects but it is not fully industry-focused. Practical exposure, skill development, and modern industry tools are limited. Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes and study the notes provided. The question papers are mostly predictable and theory-based.
Other: I chose B.Com because it provides a strong foundation in commerce, accounting, and business, and it opens up multiple career options like CA, MBA, banking, and finance. I wish the course had more practical learning, live projects, industry exposure, and skill-based training. Internship opportunities, workshops, and modern tools (like Tally, Excel, and analytics) should be included to make the course more industry-oriented. The college hosts a few events and cultural functions during the year and sports activities also happen occasionally. The campus crowd is decent and friendly. Connectivity is good as transportation and local facilities are easily available around the college.

A short review of Marwari College, Ranchi.
Placements: Approximately 60-80% of students are placed, the highest package is approximately 8-10 LPA, and the lowest is 3-4 LPA. Mahindra, Tata, Ashok Leyland, Birla, etc., are top recruiters. Approximately 70-80% of students got their internship. By completing my course, anyone can become a good leader. Through this subject, anyone can know their responsibility.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very well maintained, and classrooms are also very modern. Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility and labs. The quality of food is very good in taste and hygiene. The quantity of food is also very good, the taste is amazing, and there are various types of food.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful and also highly educated and knowledgeable. Semester examinations are easy to moderate, and all questions are asked from the syllabus. Examinations are held on time. If anyone cannot attempt their exam due to an emergency, then they can give their exam separately.
Other: I want to become a good leader, so I chose this subject, if I complete my Ph.D. in this subject, then I might become a good leader. If sections of IPC are taught, it could be helpful for us. Many types of festivals are celebrated on our college campus.

Satisfied with teachers who are helpful and take classes regularly.
Placements: Top companies like TCS, Genpact, and Mahindra are our recruiters. Top roles offered in this course are BPO accountant, sales department, finance, as well as HR internship at Wow Detailing Company, with a stipend of up to Rs. 16,000. 60-70% are placed by this course in the maximum sales department.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. The infrastructure of the new building is very good, the digital classrooms look more updated with new technology, upgraded software, and knowledgeable teachers, which helps in learning new skills for our professional as well as personal growth.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. It helps in industrial development as well as professional development. Various course curricula are available from the teachers who develop our skills. Semester exams are not very tough, nor are they very easy; it is moderate.
Other: I chose this course to be eligible for the NET exam.

Basic Information about Marwari College, Ranchi
Placements: Approximately 60 to 70% of students got selected and placed in many private and government bodies, with the highest salary being approximately 10 to 15 LPA, and the lowest almost 4 to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies include Mahindra, Tata, and Birla. As I selected Political Science, I might become a respected political leader and complete my Ph.D. in politics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and the condition of the hostel is also well-maintained. The labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The college provides a free Wi-Fi network and a library with newspapers and important books for students. Medical facilities like first aid are also provided.
Faculty: Exams are conducted by the college administration, and the management of examinations is also done fairly. All examinations are conducted in a fair manner, and all questions are asked according to the syllabus. In case of an emergency, students can leave the exam and must return to take their exam after solving the problem.
Other: I chose Political Science to learn about Indian politics and the Constitution of India, and I want to introduce basic information about the IPC section, as well as highlight the many festivals celebrated.

Marwari College Ranchi is very good because the fees are feasible, but placements can be improved.
Placements: 60% students were placed in my course previously. Highest package was 3.5 LPA in Tech Mahindra, the lowest 1.2 LPA in Concentrix, average was 1.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were Tech Mahindra. 5% of students got an internship from our course in HDFC. A customer support executive role is offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and there are labs, library, classroom, sports room, music room, auditorium, and everything is in good condition, and the security of the college is good. You need to submit your ID card before entering rooms like sports room, which will eliminate outsiders.
Faculty: Teachers are totally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also up to the mark. Course is relevant, and it really makes the students industry-ready. Exam questions setup, 40% easy questions, 40% medium questions, 20% hard questions. Faculty is also very good and supportive, they'll not disturb you unnecessarily.
Other: I chose B.A. Economics Honours because I want to work in the finance sector. Best thing about my course is that it teaches you finance in detail. I think more placement would be great.
