Basically, in MBBS, the placements means clearing PG exams and getting the preferred stream in preferred college like the AIMS and PGI-Chandigarh.

Hostels are the worst part of our college.
Placements: In MBBS, there is nothing like a placement, but we do get a stipend of around Rs. 28,000, and after doing MBBS, if you land up in PG, then you can expect 1.2 LPA. It all depends on your efforts because the branch you will be pursuing will depend on your PG rank.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not that nice, and bathrooms are genuinely hygienic, so I would rate them 3 stars. The room depends on the individual who is living in it because you can modify your room and keep it clean, and sports facilities are nice enough, but not on par with other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are top-notch, but you can find a few faculty below average in the teaching part because someone can be a good doctor or researcher, but he/she might lack in the teaching part. However, professors in our college are good, and many of them have multiple research papers.

MAMC - Where you meet your love for medicine.
Placements: MAMC is not an engineering college. There are no such packages offered. Every student (100%) is given a chance to work as an intern in Delhi government's largest LNH Hospital and is paid as per the government norms on a monthly basis after their final year.
Infrastructure: Being a very old college, it lacks infrastructure but the college buildings are renovated from time to time and equipped with the latest technologies and laboratories. Classrooms are well-maintained and fully air-conditioned. Hostels lack accommodation capacity for all students but there has been a recent announcement of new hostel building on the campus by the government, ensuring accommodation for 4,000 students and doctors. We have sports clubs and grounds in the hostel. Nearly 10 messes and canteens operate on the campus and provide good enough food. The big hospital LNH and GB Plant are within the campus itself.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well-equipped with knowledge. Many have experience of MAMC since UG days. Only well-designed professors take the lectures and provide good mentorship. The course curriculum is set by NMC and Delhi University, and makes the study relevant for leading. Semester exams are not much difficult. Nearly all the students pass the exams in their finals. A minimum of 50% is needed in theory and practical to pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in human biology and medicine. The best thing is that we learn not only theoretically but also practically on patients. It can be better if clinical exposure is started earlier in the first year itself. College has an annual fest Synapse, drawing interest from all the colleges across the country, inviting many senior performers on the stage. Various societies take care of extracurricular activities. College also runs many scholarship schemes to help needy students.

I love my college and you will also if you wanna be a doctor, Absolutely satisfied with my college.
Placements: So there is an exam called NEET UG' and out of 2.5M students only 250 get admission to MAMC Delhi, competition is very tough, If I talk about the package here on average as an MBBS graduate my institute pays around 80 thousand to all graduates, There are many hospitals seeking graduates from MAMC so placement is very good, Every student gets internship of around 1 year which is necessary and a part of cbme curriculum. Every super specialist course in medicine is offered by my institute.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of everything is top rated but the IG hostels are quite old, MAMC has been stabilized for decades, the Library is open all time, a large chunk of books are available for students, Full AC library, Full AC classroom, Full AC labs, every office is air having conditioned, All the sports are available in MAMC.
Faculty: Every teacher in MAMC is certified and a specialist in his/her field, and the concept of mastering things is all their personality depicts, Obviously being a medical student, I can relate everything that I've been taught, And passing exams is not like a piece of cake, you need to work hard to be a good doctor after all.
Other: I always wanted to be a doctor, I worked hard and after all the sacrifice I got admission to India's top medical college, Everything is top rated in MAMC, be it study, be it sports, be it research, be it extracurricular activities, and everything, Campus is also very big, there are total 5 hospitals associated with MAMC, so quite a good connectivity as well (Central Delhi).

It is one of the best colleges for MBBS.
Placements: In medical college, placements do not occur. After completing the 4.5-year MBBS course, there is a mandatory 1-year internship placed by the college in its associated hospital, where you learn clinical skills and the practical application of medical science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. The campus has a healthy environment. Lecture theatres are well-equipped and fully air-conditioned. The library has a central hall and is open 24/7. However, due to being one of the oldest college buildings, the latest books are not available. Hostels are separate for boys and girls. The boys' hostel is open 24 hours with no time restrictions, but the girls' hostel has time limitations. The hostel buildings are old, and sometimes hygiene is not proper.
Faculty: The faculty is good, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Professors have a very helpful nature and teach students practical knowledge and clinical skills. They help students in research. The curriculum is relevant and properly based on the MBBS course and practical application. Semester exams are tough sometimes and hectic and stressful, but this happens in all medical colleges.
Other: MBBS is a noble profession and a satisfactory job. It is a demanding field with no job saturation like other courses. The college organizes the annual fest SYNAPSE every year. Also, other events are organized by alumni like MAMCOS and MIDCON.

Wanna join this college? Then you must read this.
Placements: SEE Medical College is all about earning a degree, followed by a mandatory one-year internship after completing 4.5 years. The schedule is hectic, but it prepares us well for our upcoming roles as physicians and surgeons. The stipend for the internship is also good.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities have their pros and cons. A pro is that you don't need permission to leave the hostel at any time. However, the buildings are old with little to no renovation, resulting in dirty washrooms and corridors, and there are many dogs in the hostel. The food quality is average. Books and journals are available in the college library, and classrooms are equipped with projectors.
Faculty: The teachers at the college are highly educated, with more than 20 years of experience. They are also experienced doctors. While they are generally friendly, some teachers can be rude and angry. However, their teaching methods are good.

The college provides good placements.
Placements: Nearly 90% of the students got placed. The highest package offered in this course is 25 lacs and the lowest package offered is 5 lacs per annum with an average package of 15 per annum. Top recruiting hospitals are Apollo hospital, AIIMS, and Yashoda hospital. The top roles offered include that of cardiologist, dermatologist, and physician. 80% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are excellent. The classrooms are very big. Labs are well-equipped. Whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is very big with many books available. The hostel facilities are good. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. A canteen is also available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching methods are good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are difficult and 75% is the passing percentage.

The NEET cutoff for MAMC admission to the MBBS course will vary depending upon the year and competition for seats at MAMC. We can look at the 2023 or 2022 cutoffs to base an expected cutoff. The last round closing ranks in 2023 and 2022 for General AI category students were 87 and 107 respectively.

No, you cannot get admission into Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi, for MBBS without NEET.
